@GabbbarSingh Remember when Twitter was for thoughts and not for threads longer than an engineering thesis? The charm of saying something clever or insightful in 280 characters is long gone. Now it’s a flood of noise and clickbait; engagement has replaced intellect.
Here's the problem with the Indian gaming industry - the consumers dont show up!
For the first time in history India Games Showcase is happening on TGA's official channel and from a country of 1.4 Billion people, only 261 people have shown up in anticipation.
This was in hundereds and thousands for Sony's State of Play & Xbox's Showcase.
Let's please support our developers, wishlist their games and of course buy them if they are good.
But the least we can do is show up. The show starts in less than 30 mins - https://t.co/hl46VoXm22
Varanasi just celebrated Dev Deepawali. Grand, peaceful, and minus the annual whining. Meanwhile, some people treat Diwali like Earth Hour and show up once a year, drop a “no crackers, AQI” sermon and disappear till next year.
@Kanthan2030 Great to see it blowin up in China, big win! However, I don’t think it would receive the same response here just yet. Gaming still has a long way to go in India in terms of mainstream acceptance and audience maturity. Shoutout to Indian studios pushing through and building anyway
@GabbbarSingh PSVR2 for me. Got it with high hopes but Sony treated it like a one-season show. Zero effort on new games, so it’s just a very expensive dust collector now.
@gregisenberg “Internet hands” sounds great till you realize you won’t know whose hands they really are. The agent era will be all about trust, not just tech.

@caleb_friesen Govt can create favorable conditions (policy, infra, incentives), but adoption depends on Arattai itself. Unless it solves user pain points better than WhatsApp, no regulation will make people switch. They need to win users with trust and UX.
@Apolitical3678 Imagine thinking call centers = all of India’s tech talent. The same country that builds half your software stack, runs your favorite apps, and launches rockets on a shoestring budget. Peak zero IQ
