When I stepped away from pursuing higher levels of competition to focus on my mental health, I genuinely thought that competitive league of legends would just be a fond memory to look back on while playing ARAM with friends.
@Heralya1 LCK and LPL are still fun to watch which ironically are the leagues Riot is most detached from
i am pretty over getting kicked in the balls though
@Command_Attack@finihhhhertz@rhyledup legit i do this every game on caitlyn because people perma place ward too close to their side of the brush so it doesnt see you move into alcove, its a free Q every single game
Riot actually needs to address the autofill aegis issue its actually crazy that T1 has to deal with a Masters 0lp autofilled top laner vs DK just blatantly unfair
Losing a close game due to that level of indecisiveness, hesitating to engage or look at all, in the face of nearly guaranteed elimination, to the point where multiple members are walking back to regen at fountain, is definitely indicative of large-scale communication issues w T1
@nano_coaching What's even crazier to me is that Busio did an interview before the T1 games saying that he felt that the Camille into Bard matchup is not as good as people think because she has to attach herself to the wall to engage, giving Bard a free Q stun. Then they lock it vs Keria???
@KingNidhogg@heytruonghai@lolshapeshift like obviously there’s a nostalgia factor but I do think there’s something important that so many people look back on things like AP Sion, AP Yi, Elder Lizard (super op, potentially janky and unintuitive design) so fondly even though they were definitely on the receiving end too
@KingNidhogg@heytruonghai@lolshapeshift this is a good point but I also feel like there’s an argument to be made that imperfect features that seem to occasionally work against the player or cause friction kinda make the experience more fun overall even if they feel dumb or awkward in the moment
@hotazyy nah but it’s different this time because why is he even here it’s literally such a bad play for him to be here dude like he’s literally trolling but it works out because he’s bad
@GwenPopstar That many games just gives you nearly zero time to properly review, interpret, and apply lessons and correction of mistakes.
That alone is enough to make improving difficult, but adding on emotional and mental fatigue from investment in win/loss and sustained focus is zzzz
@jwnjwnufjn so yes you’re right overall, 99.98% of players who complain about being hard stuck are coping but also having played multiple accounts from zero to GM+, emerald is the absolute worst cesspit in the entire ladder
@Nymaera@LSXYZ9@xPetu If shiv applies his passive stack to the entire wave I could definitely see it being a bit better for waveclear and potentially making poke better in lane as well since you could apply a stack before you E without ever entering auto range.
@LoLMidorima@k_thes_R anyone who thinks mage takes more brain is crazy. I literally started spamming mages because I wanted to turn my brain off and clear waves. CS number go up = dopamine
