@Silkleavess I constantly encounter this kind of irresponsible attitude even from perspective of being artist oneself.. I stopped participating in trades cause, after I had completed my part, people would simply ghost me or block altogether
perhaps it makes sense to demand a refund? :(

@Wynnie_VT when I see artists like that, I genuinely feel awful 😭 like, I’m too shy to even hand a loyalty card to my customers because I’m afraid it’s too pushy—and then there are people just spamming offers to buy their work WHEREVER THEY CAN. like wtf..

@Foxiniloaf perhaps its worth making their usernames public so people at least know that commissioning these artists isnt best idea. after all, they could end up ghosting even more people—or they might see this post and feel at least some sense of responsibility for their actions

@wanwan_vt its so strange to me, even though Im an artist myself– I was a bit shocked when I found out about charging extra fee for commercial use. I mean, I get it when its a character design, but when its just character art created for specific purpose? maybe Im just missing something 😭

@Foxiniloaf i don't think the exact amount of money—whether it was a lot or a little—matters all that much. they accepted the comm and committed to fulfilling it, after all.. and ultimately, they could always have sent a message if something was going wrong. i feel really bad for you :(
