If the Normand Ranger is steaming out at 15.3 knots (>80% power - truly hauling butt) to meet GO Australis and Ship 40, she should arrive on station in roughly 40 hours.

That puts her there around 4:30 AM Texas time / 09:30 UTC on Friday.

Once both ships are on station, the real adventure begins: towing Ship 40 toward Western Australia. It could take a while working against the wind and currents, but it’s going to be fascinating to watch.

Definitely staying tuned.
