Now that the session (and campaign 😭) is over, I can post the final image of MARAN, my rogue AI from @BluSunrize's Mass Effect Genesys campaign. From their humble beginnings in a factory, through briefcase to armoured shell to starship.
Thanks for the journey, it was a blast!
Started thinking about minecraft worldgen again, ended up reading about higher dimensional geometry and calculating n-dimensional convex hulls.
These two things are directly related, but not in the way you might guess.
@Lathrix There are crashes, performance issues (one major source may be patched today), common multiplayer desyncs, and general mistakes in several parts of the game, but there are also fixes on the way.
I'd say see how it is at the end of the week and review.

strong disagree, craft is Valve removing every polygon on the _other_ side of the SMG model that you cannot see so they can squeeze HL2 on more 2004 PCs.
@Sacheverell It could be improved further by tagging the tile as blocked or not when things enter and leave it, then you only need to check the tile instead of everything in it.
I haven't dev'd in months, but Voidsong (one of IE's major contributors) has a new mod out!
Natural Philosophy is a gorgeous overhaul of vanilla biomes, improving them by spreading new blocks around and making older biomes not as neglected.
