i love these panels bc it shows the resentment babs felt towards the fact she was assaulted just to get to her father and bruce, and the resentment towards herself for being "careless". she understands that revenge won't give her back the life she had, she needs to move forward

"You know Static is someone who's been forced into Retirement basically with all the other Milestone characters and it's him sort of not only getting his foot back into the world and dusting the Cobwebs off, again relearning his Powers and learning how to control them and also learning how to be a Quasi-Public figure and also dealing with that Anger and Resentment that comes from being forced out of what his duty was, by Lex and the Goverment. Again, i am trying to tip-toe around what i can say and what i can't but i think there will be some Thematic stuff that is in all my Writings, you know Inclusive Diverse Cast from lot of different people, different body shapes, lot of different ways their body work and look. Villain's that probably serve as some reflection to what Virgil has gone through, like his family is gonna be very important. And Virgil is in college, what's it like trying to be Static and also being in College. All those things are going to be very important. It's very much a introduction of Virgil and Static not only to Readers and DC but also to the DC World at large".

"If they allow it, i'd love a Nightwing situation, i think he's really cool. I love John Stewart, like i love Black Lightning. I haven't read much of their stuff but i love just the character design of Marilyn Moonlight. I think that's one of the Coldest designs i have ever seen. So clean, it's just so good, Wally West and any of the Milestone characters"
