@efapaudio I think part of it is people being jaded against bad adaptations, particularly for video games, and being bad faith about what they see because of it. I think that while these people are critical right now if they do a decent job with the story they’ll sing its praises.

@aegoniada I really don’t seem how I am “not seeing women as people”. I think Emma had no agency at this point in the story which is rather tragic not something I see as a good thing.

He was given the choice of Emma dying or Emma and the unborn child dying. Granted he should have asked her but I’m sure she would’ve said the same this and she was on the milk of the poppy.

@aegoniada I think his desire for an heir lead to the death of Emma because he knew the prior births had been difficult and he feels immense guilt over that. His decision in this moment was fine his options are let his wife and child die or save the child.

@aegoniada So if I’m getting this straight you are saying he was a bad king who couldn’t make decisions. But he couldn’t make decisions because he was sick. The realm was fine prior to his illness not perfect but pretty darn good.

@aegoniada He didn’t make many decisions because he simply couldn’t. I don’t think he was a great father when the children were younger but again most of their lives he couldn’t be there even if he wanted to.
