I don't think Peter Obi is a real Human Being.

But if they check and he is, then he definitely is not a Nigerian.

His father has questions to answer.

1. Peter Obi rejected #700m monthly pension as Ex Governor.
2. Peter Obi rejected lands given to Ex Governors as part of their entitlements.

3. Peter Obi rejected #500m House & Furniture Allowance as Chairman of Security & Exchange Commission, SEC, Abuja 2015.

4. Peter Obi rejected $1m dollars as prize money for being the First & Best Governor to achieve the 2020 Millennium Development Goals, MDGs.

5. Peter Obi rejected the offer of an Oil Well, one of the reasons Nigerian Politicians k!ll to attain Abuja Status.

6. Peter Obi rejected the allocation of millions of naira for the set up of office of the First Lady. Insisting that his wife was not an elected official.

7. Peter Obi rejected the proposal to share the State annual budget on percentage with the State House of Assembly leading to his first unlawful impeachment.

8. Peter Obi handed over about #75bn in cash & assets after 8yrs as Governor, rejecting to convert it to personal use like other Governors did.

This man has conquered man's most natural, intense & vicious appetite...Greed.

I want someone to prove just one of these statements to be false.

Yesterday, we witnessed yet another defining moment in our democratic journey as the ADC convention was held successfully against all odds.

I must respectfully appreciate the leadership of our party, ably led by the Chairman, Distinguished Senator David Mark, whose calm and steady guidance continues to provide direction at critical moments.

My gratitude equally goes to the convention organising committee led by H.E Lyle Imoke, whose diligence, sacrifice, and attention to detail ensured that this convention was not only held, but was successful in every sense of the word.

To our delegates, party faithful, volunteers, and supporters across Nigeria and beyond, I thank you deeply. You have once again demonstrated that democracy thrives when the people refuse to give up on it.

I sincerely thank all Nigerians who, through their resilience and unwavering belief in democracy, made this possible. Your commitment is a reminder that the power of the people remains stronger than forces that seeks to undermine it.

However, now that the convention has come and gone, we must move quickly from celebration to responsibility.
Nigeria is facing very serious challenges, economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and a general sense of uncertainty among our people. These issues require urgent attention, clear thinking, and decisive action.

The success of this convention must therefore not end as an event; it must become a renewed commitment to building a nation that works for everyone. We must focus on offering practical solutions, strengthening our institutions, and restoring hope to millions of Nigerians.

The way forward demands unity, sacrifice, and integrity. We must put Nigeria first, above personal interests, above politics, and above all forms of division. If we remain focused and committed, I believe strongly that we can build a new Nigeria that is possible, sustainable, and beneficial to all.

“This Experience Will Not Repeat Itself” - Another Presidential Promise fails in less than 24 Hours.

Less than 24 hours after President Tinubu stood at the Jos Plateau State airport on April 2, 2026, and promised the grieving Nigerian citizens, “I promise you that this experience will not repeat itself,” another brutal attack occurred in Nyamgo Gyel, Jos South LGA, resulting in the deaths of several innocent citizens.

Since then, and only a week following that reassuring promise from the President, Nasarawa State has been plunged into grief as the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities fled for their lives after gunmen killed at least 11 people. Many homes were reduced to ashes, and numerous families remain missing.

In Zamfara State, 150 innocent Nigerians were abducted from the Kurfa Danya and Kurfan Magaji communities in one of the largest mass kidnappings in recent times. On the same day of the Zamfara kidnappings, terrorists in Borno State stormed Chibok, killing four officers and burning down homes.

Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Benue State was rocked by violence again, with over 17 Nigerians massacred, entire communities left in ruins, and many individuals still unaccounted for. Today, in Kaduna State, several innocent citizens were killed by terrorists inside churches, with many others abducted in the Ariko community of Kachia LGA.

Yet we were told, “This experience will not repeat itself.” This represents a failure of leadership and responsibility, and sadly, Nigerians are paying for it with their lives.

These attackers are not ghostly figures; our inaction emboldens them. How can a President make such a categorical promise and, mere hours later, the nation continues to count the dead across multiple states? The primary responsibility of any government is to protect lives and property; however, this responsibility is failing today. Nigerians are being slaughtered in their homes, in their communities, and in the very places they should feel safest. Even the President did not enter these communities, so who is truly safe in Nigeria?

This is a national emergency. Nigeria is bleeding, and the situation is worsening and increasingly helpless.

The Manifesto of a Stubborn Goat

Earlier in the day, after engaging with students at Dominican University, I attended the unveiling of “The Manifesto of a Stubborn Goat,” written by Professor Akinyemi Onigbinde, in Ibadan. Reading the book reminded me of “Growing Apart” by Professor Peter Lewis, who observes with deep concern that Nigeria often knows the right course of action but repeatedly chooses the wrong path—a theme that resonates strongly throughout Professor Onigbinde’s work.

What stands out in “The Manifesto of a Stubborn Goat” is the author’s courage to confront Nigeria’s challenges honestly. True patriotism, in my opinion, is not about praising the country when things go wrong, but rather critically examining its failings and contributing to possible solutions. Through his essays, Professor Onigbinde performs this vital service, providing an incisive ethical diagnosis of the nation’s political, social, and economic life.

The book emphasizes that citizens have a responsibility to engage, reflect, and hold both leaders and institutions accountable. It addresses pressing issues such as insecurity, the collapse of trust, the erosion of civic responsibility, and the need for ethical leadership. The metaphor of the stubborn goat—an animal that resists being quietly led to slaughter—serves as a moral center, illustrating the importance of persistence, courage, and principled resistance, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. -PO
