M.M. Roberts Stadium will become "Renasant Stadium" as part of a nearly $13.7 million naming-rights agreement between the university and Renasant Bank.

In 2015, Nick Mullens (QB) had one of the best statistical seasons in Golden Eagles history.
During the 2015 season, Mullens threw for the most single-season passing yards (4,476) and TDs (38) in program history.
Southern Miss finished the season with a 9-5 (7-1) record.
From 2014 to 2017, Ito Smith spearheaded the rushing attack for the Golden Eagles
Smith ranks 2nd all-time in program history in rushing yards (4,536) and rushing TDs (42).
In 2016, Smith ran for 17 TDs, ranking 2nd all-time in program history for rushing TDs in a single season

On Dec. 11, 2007, the Golden Eagles hired their 18th head coach in program history, Larry Fedora.
Fedora led the Golden Eagles to four straight winning seasons and four consecutive bowl appearances (2-2).
He posted a 34-9 (20-12) record during his time with the Golden Eagles.

Alumni Spotlight: Ray Guy (Punter, Placekicker & Safety)
Ray Guy called Southern Miss home from 1970 to 1972. During that span, the Hall of Famer shone for the Golden Eagles.
Guy became the 23rd pick in the 1973 NFL Draft, making him the highest-drafted Golden Eagle at the time
Ray Guy left a lasting legacy in both college and professional football, often regarded as the greatest punter of all time.
In 2000, in honor of the Hall of Fame punter, the NCAA unveiled the Ray Guy Award, which is presented annually to the top punter in college football.
Brandon Hood is a new addition to the Golden Eagles this season.
A 3-Star transfer from UMass, Hood rushed for 368 yards and 2 TDs as part of the Minutemen.
It will certainly be interesting to see how new RBs coach Isaac Reed will utilize the redshirt sophomore.
