3) At Nanyang Technological University, Mr. Oyomo will undertake research in Computational Condensed Matter Physics, a field that uses computational methods to study the structural, electrical and optical properties of solid materials at the atomic scale.
1) Two students from the Department of Physics, Mr. Billy Oyomo and Mr. Charles Rotich, have secured international academic opportunities through the University’s partnership with the University of Cantabria, Spain, under the Erasmus+ Programme.
2) Mr. Oyomo has been awarded a fully funded 3-year PhD scholarship at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, while Mr. Rotich, a Master's student in Physics, has secured a five-month research exchange programme at the University of Cantabria, Spain.

1) TU-K Launches CarboAI App to Support Diabetes Management
Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Technology Development, Prof. Alfred Orina, today launched CarboAI, an artificial intelligence-powered mobile application designed to support people living with type 2 diabetes.
