So, I'm hearing the same things as Pat (though not from Mormons bc thats not my community).

This is not new at all, the type of rot he is talking about was all over places like South Florida even 30 years ago. I saw it first hand as a young dude trying to compete with rich dudes for young girls.

But that fact that what amounts to open prostitution is now common in Mormons...yikes.

There is another way to look at this: when poison gets far enough into the system, the only way out is through.

This poison will get expelled, its just going to be painful as it runs its course.

My accountant is an older mormon guy, and he says a lot of the younger guys in the religion are completely jaded and disgusted with the women their age - they're getting flown out by rich guys to basically be railed on their boats. Meanwhile these rich guys are refusing to commit because they have so many options, and similarly do not feel like the women they can rent so easily are worth buying. This was a community that used to pair up very young even 20 years ago; accordingly now fewer than ever are getting married.

And that's just on the single guy front. Lots of stories as well of divorced women corrupting married ones in the temple; both encouraging them to leave their men AND showing them how to do it with maximum leverage. The tactics go all the way up to planting his semen on the kids clothes to frame him for pedophilia.

I honestly couldn't believe it, especially coming from that community. Mormons are in general one of the much more healthier groups in the country when it comes to traditional values. If it's that bad there, it gives you an idea of where things are at in secular America.

The bottom line is that there is an epidemic of poor character among women today, and it is entirely downstream of the boomer generation coddling them. Yes, there remain plenty of good women - but what used to be the norm is now becoming more the exception. Whoring around is a faustian bargain that seems to have no cost up front; but when payday comes it's steep. These women are wondering in their 30s why men don't want them; but the truth is that it's not just about their sexual past. The guys genuinely just don't like them: who they are, how they act, what they value. Many of these women developed shallow and crass personalities. They don't want to be around them, let alone build and sacrifice for them.

None of the elder generation however really understands any of this - just how much things have changed. Whenever I've spoken to seniors about the problems with men and women, why there's no pairing up & a demographic crisis, they immediately assume it's the men "not stepping up"; then I tell them about what average women are doing and their jaws drop. The fact that a woman could sleep with 10 different guys let alone 20 or 30 is crazy for them. And these women are hardly the worst offenders. It's out of control.

That's why I keep saying: dating is dying, and meeting people "in the commons" will decline this next decade as a way people meet each other. Trust is shot. There will be much more quasi-arranged marriages for Gen Alpha; in other words much more intermediation and vetting at least on the right. I know Gen X and millenial parents especially in the homeschool worlds are doing this as we speak. And that's only one layer of exclusivity; it will happen in various social settings and matchmaking apps.

Meanwhile the remaining women who want to have their freedom and have trashed their reputations will start to charge directly or indirectly for the time guys spend with them. We're already seeing this covert transactionality begin to become overt. They don't know how to be keepers anymore, and many of them have stopped trying.

Truly a wild world. But nature will find a way; it already is among the good faith and godly people, who are banding together to put barriers around the rot for their children. We will look back at this time not only as a speciation event, but a cautionary tale.

I'd go all in on putting myself out there as looking for a very specific type of woman, and then being rigorous about vetting out anyone not at that level.

Weirdly, even though the field is terrible, the competition for dudes is also at the worst level ever, so even though there are less good girls, there is less comp for them.
