Last month for collab connections our staff continued work on ceramic magnet masterpieces! Led by our fearless ceramicist leader Beth, the team decorated kiln-fired pieces as community bonding.
Our staff member Maggie plans to go to national night out in Wynnewood next month to support local firefighters and policeman. There will be food, rides, and free merch from nearby stores! She goes every year and it is always a fun night and great time to meet up with friends.

Happy 4th of July America! Whether watching fireworks, checking out a block party, or having a picnic, there are tons of great ways to get out into the community this weekend! If you're celebrating, let us know how in the comments! Otherwise, what's your favorite summer activity?
Last month one of our staff members attended a Phillies game with a participant. It was hot, but both had a great time watching the Phillies! A sports event is great way to stay active in the community and spend some quality time with friends!
Volunteering doesn't have to be a big commitment 💛
It's picking up trash on your walk. Checking in on a neighbor. Holding the door. Sharing a meal.
Simple acts. Real connection. This #LonelinessAwarenessWeek — what's ONE small thing you could do today? Tell us in the comments!
This week at collab connections the staff learned more about how data is analyzed and used. Our team member Eugene led the discussion since he does most of the data analysis. This was a super helpful conversation for the staff since we are often the ones collecting data.

Our Research Associate Lola loves to try eateries around the Philly area. Here she is having a cup of ice cream from The Vanilla Bean in Wayne, a 10/10 ice cream shop!
Please welcome our newest research coordinator, Beth! She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at Temple.
Before working at the Collab, Beth was a Peace Corps volunteer. She enjoys crafting in her free time. We are so happy to have her join our team!"
