We are aware of an issue in iOS 12.2 and watchOS 5.2 that affects only students who added their student ID in Apple Wallet before updating.

After downloading the update, students will be prompted for Touch ID or Face ID with every tap, even if Express Mode is turned on (1/3)

for their student ID card. In some cases, Express Mode for Student ID might stop working completely.

To resolve this issue, open the Wallet app, tap your student ID card, tap […], and tap to turn off Express Mode and then tap again to turn it back on. (2/3)
