@AnfieldIndex Have LFC even explored the possibility of signing free agent Dani Carvajal for a year? Seems a qualified and financially feasible shot at a short term solution to problem many deem the biggest in the squad right now. #LFC
@TheAnfieldWrap In fairness we already have those injuries. Ekitike, Bradley, Leoni and Gomez. So there is also an argument that we could be a few injury returns from having a really good season.
@Riggynr@TheRedmenTV Just saying I think Frimpong is a better RB than Kerkez is an LB. Make of that what you will. But if i had to prioritize, I would focus on the side with no injured players to return and improve the start 11. I agree Szobo should never play at RB though.
@SimonBrundish@HendrickD82 1. Van Dijk
2. Alisson
3. Barcola
Barcola mostly based on winning CL twice and starting for the best national team in the world even if they didn't win.
@AnfieldIndex Too late in the window now. But I fail to understand why LFC have not aggressively been pursuing Rayan at Bournemouth. To me a bigger talent than Diomande and Mbaye. And with half a season of PL quality proven. RW. Young. Not injured. Everything Minteh and Barcola are not.
@miknahtanoj@primevideosport Exactly. Why? As if the name and structure change is relevant to football. Even more curious given that it only had Premier League in the name in the 92-93 season and then from 2007 forward. In between it was the Premiership. So factually incorrect as well.
@SimonBrundish@stehoare I don't presume to know how these transfer negotiations work. But I agree with Simon that it's strange to linger for so long and not just move on. Feels like we are setting up Barcola to fail or LFC to fail. Then again I have been hoping we move on to Rayan all along.
@TheAnfieldWrap Jones has never been robust. I can't think of a single where he really stood out. He never carried the team in a game. He just doesn't have that quality. He is a fine footballer. And he will start at other clubs. But at a top club he will only ever be on the fringes.
@sidlowe Seems excessive for something as trivial as a transfer story. But I would like it if there was some sort of accountability for people who do not tell the truth. That goes in all walks of life.
@AnfieldIndex@Barts78 I agree to an extent. I thought Grav was superb when Slot just arrived. It seemed that he accepted the deep lying role focusing on being the anchor as that was his way into the starting line-up. Last season he seemed to change from a 6 to an 8. And with that we lost our balance.
