A man was sentenced to 7 years in prison for stealing millions of money🥹💔
Two years into his sentence, he received a letter from his father:
“My dear son, you’ve left me in old age and sickness. The planting season has arrived, and I have no one to help me plow the field and plant maize. I wish you were here to help me. God willing, we shall meet again.”
The son replied:
“Dear father, please don’t dig in the field for now. That’s where I buried all the money I stole. Wait until I’m released.”
As all prisoner letters are read by the prison guards, the next morning, over 100 prison officers showed up at the father’s farm and dug every inch of it — but they found nothing.
The son later wrote back:
“Dear Dad, I hope you enjoyed the help I sent you. You can now go ahead and plant your maize.”

A tree grows two ways at the same time: upward and downward.
The upward growth could be referred to as financial or personal expenditure. The things you do that people see and commend how you are becoming a big boss.
However, what really matters is the financial roots, call it the assets that produce the cashflows to support your lifestyle.
Without deepening your earnings, you have no business increasing your expenditure. Find ways to increase your income, and you will be able to improve your standard of living without becoming a spendthrift.
