@jackcrawford__ I think you can pull off something aesthetically pleasing with minimal effort as long as it's coherent. Few colors, not very detailed sprites, only takes a little longer than programmer art. Then prioritize the fun :D.
@BeanJuiceStudio With gym, cooking, cleaning and work, I can usually manage to squeeze in 2 hours most weekdays. Then on weekends in between prepping for week and gym and maybe socializing if I don't want to go crazy I can clock 10 hr a day. 30 hour dev weeks ain't bad
@noio_games This is something that I struggle a lot with even when playing games for fun. I more deeply value time spent with games that expand my way of thinking, or engross me in interesting stories. I love roguelikes but at a certain point they feel like I'm just passively grinding.
@xavierpilcrow@punishedgarage I genuinely think it is, the writing, capitalization, and vocab is normal gen z reddit user but one paragraph per burger component with weird transitions + the call to action at the end screams ai to me
@Hyeyunie I can only live alone if I have enough friends living in walking distance that I can hang out with someone whenever, otherwise it can get lonely for sure
@FoolOfD I once lived with south african people and they wouldn't do their chores, when I'd do their dishes for them (they wouldn't respond whenever I asked them to do their chores) to make space in the sink they'd get very mad at me for putting them away in the wrong place.
