Halal tourism means travelling to other destinations for less than a year to engage in permissible activities according to the Shariah (Islamic law) while utilizing permissible facilities for entertainment (Abbasi, 2020). #TurinTIEF2021
The global Halal industry as a whole is estimated to worth around USD 2.3 trillion (excl Islamic finance) a y. The global market growth is estimated to reach at an annual rate of 20 percent. The Halal industry is no longer confined to food & food-related products. #TurinTIEF2021
