@O2 Also others living in this area are not having the same issue so I don't think it can be the mast. I've updated the APN and tried the sim in another phone...nothing. Help much appreciated.
@O2 my 3g has vanished on new sim, phone support won't let me through and tech support online hasn't worked. I need 3g internet over the weekend for my on-call work. Can anyone help please?
@O2 Thanks I've done all of that - it says there is work on a mast nearby but the signal has been gone completely since at least yesterday just seems odd as it is a new sim too.
@SimonConway Indeed, drowning in local govt work for Covid but all healthy so no complaints really. Renovating a house too...never do things by halves!! Rxx
@HastingsDirect Thank you Theo - it would be very helpful if your emails/website/call holding messages mentioned that only the policy holder can cancel to prevent huge wastes of time. Also given the Covid circs - that he could email permission for me to act on his behalf.
@HastingsDirect terrible customer service today! Taken 30mins to be told I can't cancel husband's policy even if I'm named driver. He's keyworker & can't sit on hold, web acct not working & staff won't speak to me or accept an email from him. No mention on web/hold msg of this!
@Morrisons Thanks Matt - so is the website correct then? It just seems odd that I can book a slot but there is hardly anything I can put in my basket from what I would call everyday essentials. My usual £50 shop is going to be much more if I have to fill the fridge with luxury goods!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge called teachers and school staff at Casterton Primary Academy to thank them for their hard work and dedication.
@BBCBreakfast fab thank yous to the Key Workers this morning. My husband and I are both key workers at local councils and our son is thanking the NHS staff each Thursday.
