@Elevator2ThaTop@rabbriansamuel This verse comes from the Hebrew version of Matthew which the historian Josephus records as being written in Matthews native tongue. The Hebrew version of Matthew is worth reading. Blessings
I agree with what you say. As a Messianic believer I've become hesitant to say Shabbat Shalom for example in fear of being called heretic by my own brothers and sisters in Christ . We're all on our own unique path of relationship with God and should be patient, and thankful. So, Shabbat Shalom!!
I grew up Baptist , moved to Pentecostal, and now Messianic for 10 years. I'm sorry it doesn't sit right with you that the pastor is friends with a rabbi but I understand where you're coming from. I assure you if you get to know more about messianic beliefs you'd feel differently. We aren't trying to earn salvation. We do believe in keeping all 10 commandments.
@ChrisRamsey60 How do u advertise?. I have 4000 sq ft available in a small town for $3200. List on Crexi and Facebook and Loopnet and nothing but tire kickers
@nathancoxey God's commands are for our good. That's why the loving God gave them. We reap what we sow and we choose for ourselves blessings or curses. Obedience yields blessings.
@iamrjknight Everywhere we read "salvation" in the Hebrew scriptures, you can insert "Jesus" because Yeshua means Salvation and Yeshua=Jesus. This verse literally says: for He has clothed me with garments of Yeshua.
@rabbriansamuel And the angel of the Lord said to Mary, " You shall call Him Yeshua (Salvation) for He will save the world from its sin."
ISAIAH: The Lord is my strength, song, Yeshua. The Lord is Yeshua.
@AttorneyF_ In a similar vein of thought, I find it interesting that every date on every document, every web page, around the world, 24/7 speaks to the glory of God. Should we bring back the "in the year of our Lord"?
