@end_of_eva Square didn't t realize they could still do an open game like they used to, and clearly adapted FFX so you didn't need to travel around anymore. It's a straight line because the story and technical limitations they had set intertwined. It bothers me less than XIII though.

@MikaDaicha Makes sense. I prefer Asylum a bit more because I like the enclosed nature of it. A sort of "I'm not trapped in here with you, you're trapped in here with me" sort of deal. It felt very focused and cool.
