@Tironianae Let me guess his plan:
Find that every building in the whole city has things that won't pass inspection, because that's the reality.
Then he will mandate that they get fixed.
Since owners can't raise rent to cover the expenses of the repairs, he will seize the building.
@LiberalAchaean@bennyjohnson Oh boo hoo. Part of American culture is celebrating our independence, and 250 years is a huge milestone. Fireworks on 4th of July is an American tradition.
At what point do you realize that you just hate American culture? I'd hate to live in your head. You are a complainer.
@Timcast For people who need food assistance, I believe it would be reasonable for the gov't to simply deliver 50lbs of rice and beans and/or "free" rides to food pantries and soup kitchens. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit. SNAP is broken.
@RpPatriot1776@SquattingDoggg@ClownWorld 15% was absolutely the norm for the longest time. 20% became more popular as people got worse at math.
Total the bill, move decimal point to get 10%, double it, and you have a 20% tip calculated.
Or your parents were just generous.
@ClownWorld And this is why my family stopped eating out. For a family, a $200 meal is something that can only be had a few times per year.
Growing up, eating out as a family once or twice per week was the norm. Now that would cost nearly $1600/month
Restaurants will continue closing.
@greg_price11 Did she forget the part where he murdered someone who won't see his next birthday? 35 years seems light. Even if his justification was that he didn't want to get rained on, he pulled out a knife and stabbed a kid through his heart.
@trippyytulip@CRatliff1134@ClownWorld When people bury the hot coals, they stay hot for hours. They are impossible to see. One moment you're walking barefoot on nice sand, and the next step you are stepping on a frying pan.
Wouldnt be an issue if people properly extinguished fires to cold ash, but they don't.
@CeaseArtTheft@RawbyDesign01@Timcast ...if you watch his show, you'd know the answer. Yes, this is all a joke. Tim is just some dude who complains about stuff on the internet. He is a totally real person and makes jokes. It's hilarious how much value people put on tweets.
@FmrRepMTG "could not match the bullet to the gun" could mean it hit a rock and was a mangled lump of metal... Doesn't mean it wasn't the bullet, just that it's not a pristine recovered bullet that matches the scratching pattern of the exact barrel because it was mangled...
@gusfraiha@jimmyfallins@Starlink You pay way more than that, actually. Your tax dollars went to those fiber lines your whole life. But for now, sure, "cheap internet" but know where your tax dollars went...
@FoundAMoron@Starlink I'm sure your emails send super fast. Paying for over 1 gig is just a waste of money. On the rare occasion you are downloading something giant, like GTA6 (if it ever comes out) you will only save yourself maybe an hour, but realistically, the server side will throttle you.
@PoorIcon@libsoftiktok@GOP Are you suggesting that Democrats are going to fix the fraud? That's laughable. They are literally in on it.
My hope is that Republicans run someone that will campaign on getting the job done, call out trump's shortcomings, and win by a landslide.
@electionsjoe This has nothing to do with Norway and the noble prize. There is essentially unclaimed land (Greenland) which can be strategic to the United States' golden dome defense. There's 55k people who live in the island, about enough to fill 2/3 of a stadium. Get them paid and own it
@AI_EmeraldApple@WallStreetMav The US doesn't need NATO... Each country in europe is like its own Minnesota. As Trump said regarding greenland, "you don't defend things you don't own the same way"
@waky_dane@ILA_NewsX@JDVance Black ice saved ICE. If that car had better traction, the officer would have been totally smashed. She floored it with the wheels pointed at him, whether intentional or not. If an officer gives you commands, follow them and you'll be fine practically every time.
@NevadaHoopajoo @RealJamesWoods Asia is more than 3 times bigger than Antarctica. We get your point about the scale of the fraud, but also have to do our research when we present it.
