@JoeGoodberry How does the run blocking scheme differ from the latter half of last season when Brown got going? Is last season's scheme incapatible with under center formations, have the abandoned the concepts entirely, or is the O-Line simply not doing what they did well last year?
@Trags Thanks for the article. Ownership thinks they can climb Mt. Everest when they can't even make it to Basecamp. But the answer is to keep trying with the same sherpas and they will eventually find a way to get them up there because they're good at finding out what's going wrong...
@MoEgger@UHInsurance01 The only outside hire the Castellinis have made for GM is Jocketty when they first assumed ownership. You could argue even that was inside considering both of their Cardinals connections. Ownership has continually failed for decades.
@KyTimothyB@Bengals@JoeGoodberry Unless I'm mistaken, the Bengals have the most 5000 yard wide receivers in the Super Bowl era with 11. The careers of those 11 have a continuous presence on every Bengals roster from current day to 1973.
@pauldehnerjr It's continually baffling to me the the NFL could possibly be so inept in honoring the best players to play their game. They continue to complicate the system and great players continue to fall through the cracks. How hard is it to do it the MLB's way, simple and straightforward?
@jefffcarr Not saying the Reds have been good defensively, but any metric that claims Matt McLain is a below average defender at 2B is bunk in my book.
@jefffcarr If the season ended today Hayes would have a BA-xBA of -.106. That is 18 points worse than ANY hitter in the MLB with a minimum of 100 PA in a season since 2015. Every metric points to him putting up way more quality contact than his raw numbers show.
@JimM04628145@jefffcarr It was good 3rd base coaching. Early in game against stud SP and an above average runner. The guys who should wear it are Elly swinging 3-0 only to beat it in the ground and luck out of a DP and Sal with an excuse me pop fly on a 1-1 fastball up and out of the zone.
@MoEgger At least it's not from a performance standpoint but a roster management standpoint. Any club that faces this many injuries in this short amount of time would be adopting the same language.
