CORDOVA, Ala. — Residents from across Walker County are invited to gather in Cordova on July 4 for what organizers are calling one of the area’s largest Independence Day celebrations, honoring both America’s birthday and the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
The event will take place from noon until 10 p.m. at Indian Head Mill Park, located at 411 School Street in Cordova. Activities throughout the day will include live music, food trucks, vendors, a kids zone with inflatables, yard games, contests, and a parade.
Music lovers can enjoy performances by M-80s and Rock Mob, while classic car enthusiasts can take part in the popular Cruise-In on Main event.
The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m., providing a patriotic finale for families and visitors.
