This was very well done. It’s not left vs. right anymore no matter how hard they try to force us back into the paradigm.
It’s a simple yes or no question. The answer cannot be “well, was Biden mentally fit?”
John Mappin is a patriot.
He refused to allow the government to use his hotel for illegal migrants, despite the easy money, because it would have been dangerous for locals.

Why We Have Joined Restore Britain
And Why We Support Rupert Lowe in His Purpose to Unify the British People and All Positive Participants to Prevent the Otherwise Inevitable Destruction of Our Culture.
By John & Irina Mappin
There comes a moment in the life of a nation when complaint must give way to construction.
For years, many of us have watched the drift — the slow erosion of confidence, sovereignty, cultural coherence, and simple common sense. We have debated it at dinner tables, lamented it in drawing rooms, and dissected it online. Yet civilisation is not preserved by commentary alone. It is preserved by participation.
That is why we have decided to join Restore Britain.
Not as a protest.
Not as an act of anger.
But as an act of restoration.
We have spent much of our lives building — businesses, creative ventures, cultural platforms. At Camelot Castle Hotel, we have sought to create not merely a hotel, but an epicentre of creativity — a place where art, philosophy, enterprise and friendship meet. Camelot is not nostalgia; it is a living myth. It reminds us that greatness begins with imagination.
And Britain, too, is a living myth.
This island produced Magna Carta, parliamentary democracy, Shakespeare, Newton, the Industrial Revolution, and the defeat of totalitarianism. It is not a trivial footnote in history. It is one of the great civilisational engines of the modern world.
But engines, if neglected, rust.
Restore is not about grievance politics. It is about competence, confidence and clarity. It is about borders that function, laws that mean something, energy policies grounded in realism, and a tax system that rewards work rather than punishes initiative.
Most importantly, it is about cultural self-respect.
Our decision was not purely philosophical. It became personal.
At one point, we were formally approached regarding the possible use of our hotel to accommodate large numbers of asylum seekers. A very substantial financial sum was offered.
For some, this would have been a straightforward commercial decision. For us, it was a moment of clarity.
We think it is fair to say that people know where we stand on the subject of illegal immigration. Compassion must always exist — but compassion without control ceases to be compassion; it becomes chaos.
We do not criticise individuals seeking refuge in difficult circumstances. But the fact that a historic cultural landmark in Tintagel could be so readily repurposed as emergency overflow accommodation brought home something far more serious: the scale of the dysfunction.
It revealed, starkly, that the system was no longer operating within manageable bounds.
When a government begins scrambling for buildings rather than managing borders, we are no longer discussing policy refinement — we are witnessing policy failure.
That moment crystallised for us the true state of our country.
Politics ultimately comes down to people.
We have spoken this week with Rupert Lowe.
We are proud to support Rupert's vision and proud to have donated to Restore's Cromwell Club.
In an age where politics has become theatrical, transactional and often hollow, character matters more than ever. We have seen his character first-hand.
Integrity is not measured in press releases. It is measured in private conduct.
When we bought Camelot Castle — that beautiful mythological icon that it is — many friends congratulated us. Over the years, we have often been praised for the restoration that has followed.
We are frequently asked: what is it like to own such a national treasure?
And of course, it is an honour.
But the truth is this: one never truly owns such an iconic asset.
One is merely its guardian.
We are taking care of it for the next generation and for the generations that will follow.
And that principle applies equally to our country.
Britain is not something we possess. It is something we are entrusted with.
There is much work to do when it comes to creating the future of this beautiful land that we have all been entrusted with.
Borders matter. Energy policy matters. Economic revival matters. Cultural confidence matters. But above all, stewardship matters.
Culture and politics are reflections of one another.
At Camelot Castle, we have often spoken of creativity as the rehabilitation of civilisation. When you restore an individual’s creative spark, you restore their sanity, their agency, their future. When you restore a nation’s confidence, you restore its trajectory.
Restore, in that sense, is not merely a political movement. It is a cultural reset. It says: decline is not destiny.
As lifelong champions of entrepreneurs, artists, thinkers and builders, we recognise something in Restore that is too often absent from modern politics — seriousness.
Not performative outrage.
Not managerial drift.
But seriousness.
Britain stands at a crossroads:
The easy path is cynicism. The harder path is responsibility.
We have chosen responsibility.
Restore offers a platform for serious reform: controlled migration, energy independence, regulatory simplification, economic revival, and the reassertion of parliamentary sovereignty.
It is not extreme to want your country to function.
Politics, at its best, is not about power. It is about stewardship.
It is about passing on something stronger than we inherited.
We want our children — and yours — to inherit a Britain that believes in itself again. A Britain that rewards hard work. A Britain that protects its freedoms. A Britain that speaks with moral clarity in a confused world.
That is why we have joined Restore.
Because the restoration of sanity begins with a decision.
And we have made ours.
All our love,
John and Irina Mappin

Our dearest friend Charlie Kirk departed this life this evening.
We cannot express in words the deep deep sadness that my wife and I feel.
It is all the more painful as we were due to see Charlie in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend, in two days time.
Charlie cared deeply about the current state of our country. He was paying close attention to its current challenges, he wanted to help.
No one of his age has ever achieved more politically for his own country and indeed geopolitically than Charlie Kirk has.
The actions that Charlie took to work towards peace and harmony in this world may never be fully known but we were and are a witness to many of them.
Charle Kirk has always been to my mind, first and foremost a peacemaker. That was my first impression of him too.
Charlie did not like unnecessary wars and in addition to his work for TPUSA Charlie worked tirelessly to prevent them.
I think that it was his purpose as a peacemaker, to end war and to create strong friendships was the essence of why we became so close.
Charlie always understood where I was coming from and I believe I understood him.
Irina and I had the singular honour in December 2018 of first welcoming and introducing Charlie Kirk to the UK when we launched Turning Point UK and subsequently, we had the honour of lending our family’s support to the expansion of Turning Point USA in America and in particular in helping to forward his peacemaking purposes.
The wins and successes that we have had together in that regard since 2018 have indeed been historic.
We welcomed Charlie to the UK again when he was invited to speak at the Oxford Union a few weeks ago.
We dined the evening before as small group, those very same friends that had welcomed him initially to the UK some years before.
Charlie, humble under praise as ever despite his stellar victories, expressed how he was so grateful to God for giving him the opportunity to help his country and to shape the philosophy of the world.
And he expressed to his friends that evening that God had already given him the opportunity to achieve far more than he had ever possibly thought that he would achieve at the outset when he started on his political and educational mission with Turning Point.
One of our greatest pleasures and experiences together is when Charlie invited Irina, our young son and I to Jerusalem to walk the path of Christ with him and with his new girlfriend, now his beloved wife, Erika, whom he had first encountered in Jerusalem. He knew the city so well and he loved Jerusalem. Few have the strength of Christian Faith that Charlie does, so the experience with him and Erika there was both etherial and divine. It was a beautiful few days together.
We walked its streets as four purpose bound friends. With our minds to the future and what might be achieved, we stood where Christ stood, were our lord preached his unique message of love that the world would eventually come to know, in the newly excavated City of David, (which was not even yet open to the public, somehow Charlie had been granted access).
We prayed and dreamed of what might just be possible if a well resourced coordinated group of people of good will got behind the life bringing purpose that Turning point and Charlie’s other work to bring peace presented.
Charlie’s Christian faith is one of the strongest I have ever encountered and it is one of the reasons that I know that despite the immense tragedy of today, Charlie Kirk is now with Jesus, our Lord.
This evening, he is with the angels.
Our thoughts this evening are solely with his beloved wife Erika and his two children.
Charlie Kirk, his philosophy, and his work will never be forgotten. His works and his philosophy will live on. If anyone had the idea that such an evil act could stop his ideas or his communication from reaching the minds for whom it is intended, their attempt has failed utterly.
Charlie Kirk who has always been certain in his faith of his own spiritual immortality, has today been immortalised along with his work here on earth.
We will miss our late night chats and extraordinary interchanges Charlie, we will mis God’s manifestation of sanity though you in person. We will miss the joys that you brought to us and your sense of humour.
We will ensure that Erika and your children are taken care of and that your children know who you were and what you achieved and will continue to achieve for this world and for God.
Goodbye our dear friend. Bon Voyage. Au-revoir.
As we always reencounter those whom we love,
Take care until we meet again.
As our lord spoke these words, they most certainly apply to you Charlie.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Mathew 5:9
May God Bless Charlie Kirk and may Light Perpetual shine upon him and upon those whom he loved.
Please hold Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk and their two young children in your prayers.🙏
John and Irina ❤️❤️

The media, meanwhile, has been a willing participant in this theatre of perpetual war. Newsrooms that once feigned cynicism toward official narratives have become little more than stenographers for defence ministries, pumping out unverified atrocity stories and framing any talk of negotiation as betrayal. The moment a credible peace deal is floated, these same outlets will roll out the inevitable “anonymous sources” and “intelligence leaks” to discredit it. The groundwork for failure will be laid in prime time.
President Trump’s own political enemies will not miss the opportunity either. If he is the architect of peace, they will portray him as a stooge, a capitulator, a man who “sold out” Ukraine to the Kremlin. The irony—that the West’s own blunders and interventions helped provoke the war—will be buried beneath the avalanche of op-eds and panel shows.
And yet—this is where the story need not end in cynicism. If decent people of goodwill, across all nations, can open their eyes to who is orchestrating the sabotage, if they can see clearly the vested interests that feed on endless conflict, they can rally in support of this fair and sane approach to ending the manufactured bloodshed. Peace is not only possible—it is inevitable if the saboteurs are exposed and their influence broken in the open.
This is why both President Trump and President Putin—and indeed, every serious observer in politics, media, and diplomacy—must approach the peace process with eyes wide open. The obstacles are not only on the battlefield; they are embedded in the very structures of government, finance, and public opinion. To underestimate the lengths to which the beneficiaries of war will go to keep their war is to guarantee failure.
If this peace is to survive, it must be built on transparency, on clear communication with the public about the compromises involved, and on a willingness to call out the saboteurs for what they are: parasites on human suffering. The question is not whether they will try to wreck it—they will—but whether the architects of peace, backed by citizens of good faith, can outmanoeuvre them before their poison takes hold.
A sane, fair peace in Ukraine would be an earthquake in the post-Cold War order. It would expose decades of reckless Western policy. It would deprive a powerful network of its lifeblood. And it would signal that even the most entrenched conflicts can yield to diplomacy when leaders possess the will—and the people possess the vision—to face down those who profit from destruction.
But history’s lesson is stark: peace has enemies every bit as ruthless as war. And they are already at work.

The Enemies of Peace: Why a President Trump–President Putin Settlement Will Face Sabotage
By John Mappin, IF Magazine
It is one of the iron rules of history: the closer the world inches towards peace, the more frantically the war profiteers work to smash it. We are witnessing this iron law in motion today as President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin edge towards the contours of a sane, fair, and workable peace settlement in Ukraine—one that takes into account not only Russian security concerns but also the West’s own culpability in lighting the fuse.
For years, the Western political class has sold the public a sanitised fairy tale about Ukraine’s tragedy: that it was a simple morality play of noble democrats versus cartoonish aggressors. Omitted entirely from that tale are NATO’s relentless eastward expansions, Washington’s meddling in Kyiv’s politics, and the strategic blunders that made war almost inevitable. Now, as the possibility emerges of a settlement that acknowledges those realities, the very people who fatten themselves on prolonged conflict are sharpening their knives.
Make no mistake: these are not men of conscience or principle. They are shareholders in the industrial killing machine—arms manufacturers, private military contractors, the vast ecosystem of “consultants” and think-tankers whose livelihoods depend on an uninterrupted flow of blood and treasure. A peace deal would halt the gravy train overnight. No more billion-dollar contracts. No more emergency tranches of taxpayer money shovelled eastward under the banner of “solidarity.” No more headlines to keep the public roused in righteous fury.
The fact is, Ukraine’s war has been the greatest windfall for the global military-industrial complex since the early years of Iraq and Afghanistan. Arms stocks have soared, European defence budgets have ballooned, and Pentagon procurement officers are behaving like drunken sailors in port. If peace breaks out, the party’s over—and those who have built fortunes on this conflict will not surrender their banquet without a fight.
This is why, as President Trump and President Putin inch closer to a settlement, the world should brace for the inevitable dirty tricks. Peace will not be allowed to arrive quietly. The tactics are predictable: sudden escalations on the battlefield, “mystery” missile strikes blamed on one side or the other, assassinations, cyber-attacks, and a rolling barrage of media disinformation designed to poison public opinion against compromise. The aim will be to make any deal politically toxic before the ink is dry.
History offers no shortage of warnings. In 1919, the punitive Versailles Treaty—driven by the interests of those who sought to keep Germany down and arms production up—planted the seeds for the next global war. In 1968, when Lyndon Johnson and Hanoi were exploring a ceasefire, back-channel saboteurs worked to stall it for electoral gain. More recently, every flicker of rapprochement between Washington and Moscow—from Reagan and Gorbachev’s INF Treaty to President Trump’s own tentative diplomacy in Helsinki—has been met with hysteria and sabotage from entrenched Cold Warriors.
In the Ukraine conflict, the potential spoilers are legion. In Washington, both parties harbour legislators whose donors include the very corporations arming Kyiv. In Brussels, NATO bureaucrats see their budgets and prestige tied to a permanent standoff with Russia. In London, the intelligence services have made careers—and headlines—out of portraying President Putin as an unrelenting bogeyman. And in Kyiv itself, hardline factions have made clear they will accept no settlement that concedes even an inch of territory, regardless of the human cost.

If you continue to supply a LOO ROLL for example to the Britannia Hotel Chain or any Migrant Hotel with any product or service.
Towels, laundry, internet service, you name it.
Please, don’t be surprised if your company or staff get boycotted and sanctioned.
People are not obligated to trade with you.
I suspect you will damage your trade and reputation for decades.
The people of Britain are furious.
They are witnessing the cultural destruction of their country.
We have never in our lives seen anything like this before.

The Spectator Summer Party
The Uncontestable Climax of London’s Social Calendar
A Night of Portents and Politesse
By John Mappin
In the amber glow of a London July, as the sun set on the capital’s ancient stones and its restless politics, one gathering outshone all others: The Spectator Summer Party.
More than a social fixture, it has become a rite of passage—a salon in the open air where ideas breathe freely and futures are whispered before they are announced. This year’s revel, set once again in the magazine’s peerless garden at 22 Old Queen Street, unfolded with all the élan and intellectual voltage worthy of the world’s oldest political journal.
Under the steady chairmanship of Lord Charles Moore and the newly anointed editorial vision of Lord Michael Gove, whose assumption of the magazine’s helm sent a frisson through Britain’s chattering classes, The Spectator crackles with a renewed, near-insurgent vitality. Freddy Gray, the US editor, offered his trademark wry brilliance in just the right measure, never letting intellect lose its wit. And as dusk gathered, so too did the forces reshaping Britain’s political firmament most luminously personified by Nigel Farage.
Farage’s presence was not merely social, it was symbolic. Rising above the crowd on a private balcony overlooking the gardens, a flourish of theatre almost too perfect to script, he surveyed the scene like a general before a campaign. At his side the ever-watchful George Cottrell and behind them a tide of Reform UK sentiment swelling beneath the genteel chatter. Farage’s instincts for drama and position have rarely faltered but here, against the backdrop of The Spectator’s bastion of reason, he was both guest and augury, a harbinger of the old order’s unraveling and the new populist clarity rising to meet it.
The guests—ministers, poets, financiers, iconoclasts—drifted between hedgerows and high conversation. Glasses of Pol Roger shimmered like votive candles in the hands of men and women for whom words still matter. Here titles meant little, it was the currency of conviction that carried the day. Cabinet grandees were observed debating esoteric points of constitutional reform with wide-eyed undergraduates. Piers Morgan, one of Britain’s last true media provocateurs, drifted through the garden like a spark in dry straw, his barbed commentary igniting laughter and provocation in equal measure.
Among the more serious conclaves one might have overheard Charles Carlson, nephew to the indomitable Tucker Carlson, in trenchant discussion with Nora Lee Notzon, the quietly formidable analyst of transatlantic political undercurrents. Their exchange, piercing and elegant, was emblematic of the evening, a symposium wrapped in silk and sentience.
Yet for all the sharpness of debate, it was Farage who dominated. His charm irrepressible, his mood buoyant, his message unmistakable. Reform UK is no longer a footnote, it is the footfall of something approaching destiny. The polls murmur it, the crowds feel it and in this garden, amid roses and ruinous government, it was impossible to ignore. He did not need to campaign. He merely stood, and the room bent toward him.
That is the alchemy of this party: its atmosphere fuses intellectual gravitas with unabashed gaiety. This is no sterile policy symposium. This is Rome before the oration—vivid, unpredictable, alive. It is here that Britain’s political future takes its first breath. And it was Farage, rather than any sitting minister, who seemed to hold that breath in his palm.

3 to 4 months until the Big Bang. That’s my estimate too. Listen to the President of Serbia and his frank assessment of the situation in Ukraine. Europeans must disconnect from the bad influence of the falling US empire or they will pay the ultimate price.
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

THE VERY REAL POTENTIAL OF THERMO NUCLEAR WAR.
THIS IS THE ONE ISSUE THAT NO-ONE IS PROPERLY TALKING ABOUT OR CONFRONTING.
IT IS THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM.
HERE IS THE WHOLE BROADCAST WITH @tvrussia1 AND @AlKhabarov WHICH SCREENED ACROSS RUSSIA AND THE CIS YESTERDAY.
WE NEED TO CREATE PEACE NOT NUCLEAR WAR.
THERE IS ONE ISSUE THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE UK OR US ELECTION.
OR INDEED ANY OTHER ISSUE:
THE POTENTIAL OF THERMO NUCLEAR WAR.
It’s time to talk about it.
It’s time to create peace.
Please watch the whole interview below with @tvrussia1@AlKhabarov
OUR COUNTRY IS ON THE BRINK OF WW3 AND THERMO NUCLEAR WAR WITH RUSSIA.
IT IS AN INSANITY THAT MUST END OR MILLIONS WILL DIE.
ONE OF THESE MEN BELOW WILL BE PRIME MINISTER ON JULY 5th.
WHO WOULD YOU TRUST TO BRING ABOUT PEACE WITH RUSSIA AND UKRAINE - TO END THE CONFLICT?
The easiest way for Trump to get even is to expose the NordStream terror attack and the involvement of Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Nuland and the CIA. It’s a crime in any jurisdiction. Get arrest warrants, lock them up and watch them turn against each other in exchange for a deal.
