@CarrieCnh12 The CW is not a streaming service. Why would a business that is exclusively on broadcast focus on streaming at all? I know you’re talking about this from a show perspective, but The CW doesn’t make the shows. They just air them first and Netflix gets the viewers/money.

@CarrieCnh12 @Nina_Metz This was an announcement from Texas-based executives who just bought $100 mil in debt from a company that couldn’t find an audience with content that is about as diverse and queer as broadcast TV gets. Literally none of this comes from Hollywood execs or creatives.

@Nina_Metz This is a narrow-minded view of their strategy. They’re prioritizing shows that have align with their linear audience because they don’t own interest in streaming. You’d be silly to think Riverdale or All American are shows for 58 y/o’s. It’s just that the 18-34s watch on Netflix
