"Street Lights" was crafted during the final sessions for 808s & Heartbreak in 2008 Hawaii. Ye built the haunting synth chords and pulsing 808s with Mike Dean and Jeff Bhasker, layering his Auto-Tuned vocals raw and late at night after the breakup with Alexis Phifer.
