Dear Alabama and Eutaw @LovesTravelStop , as a Mississippian, I request an apology and a recall of all such merch. 🤣

Best laugh of the day.

Do you know where you were on August 21, 1965? Well, Connie Smith was at the Grand Ole Opry becoming a member.

And tonight, she was back at the Opry celebrating a new milestone. She is the first female to be an Opry member for 61 years.

Congratulations, Connie Smith. We never once stopped loving you.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

@TGrahamBrown Connie is the greatest.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

@realcountry1953 Connie is my favorite. She will be at the Opry on Aug 21 for two shows. And I have tickets to both. Marty will be there also.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

Last night, Gary Mule Deer filled the Ellis Theater in Philadelphia, Mississippi with laughter. What a great evening.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

Guess what today is. ... It is Connie Smith, day!

Happy Birthday to the Rolls-Royce of Country Music.

Connie Smith will be on the @opry August 21. And it's a two show night. Tune into @WSMradio next Friday at 7pm.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

It is quite apparent that @mollytuttle and @martystuarthq are something special when they get people to agree to see them twice in one weekend.

The Ellis Theater/ @MartysCongress in Philadelphia, Mississippi will always be the best place to see Marty.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

What an amazing evening at @ALTheatre in Birmingham. @mollytuttle and @martystuarthq were both amazing.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

You know it will be a great @opry show when @oakridgeboys are there. Wow, Ben James and Aaron McCune sounded amazing on "How Great Thou Art!" What a blessing they are.

[JustIrene @TwangConnection]

We sure love Marty and Connie. Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to my Baby!

Today, we remember Jeannie Seely who was born July 6, 1940 in Titusville, PA.

She not only became an @opry member, but also holds the record for the most Opry performances.

On August 1. 2025, Jeannie left us with her catalog of her beautiful work and the memories of her great performances.

Let us all spend some time listening to the great Jeannie Seely, as we remember her on the anniversary of her birth.

We miss you Jeannie.
