@marissastreit@DennisPrager What a remarkable man! To have this kind of stoicism after enduring such a horrific life changing injury is nothing short of phenomenal! Hang in there Dennis and wishing you a full recovery! The world needs more of your wisdom!
Best wishes from across the pond! ๐ฌ๐ง๐บ๐ธ
@Arabbeau Had the pleasure of visiting this magical place for a third time, just a couple of months ago. This place is nothing short of spectacular. We camped with the bedouins for two nights. Probably the best place I have ever been to! ๐ฏ๐ด๐
@thehistoryguy I was at this exact location myself, just 5 weeks ago on the 29th February. My third visit to this magical place and it gets better every time. Couldn't believe how quiet it was compared to my previous visits. Must have been mesmerising to Johann Ludwig Burckhardt back in 1812 ๐ฏ๐ด
@_AGrimm Very poignant and heart wrenching but also very beautiful. The lone piper and the walk he does down the corridor and out the building is meant to symbolise the queens spirit walking out of this life and into the next. The one at Prince Phillips funeral was equally as beautiful ๐ฌ๐ง
Imagine being Prince Philip: fighting Nazis, helping preside over the UK during the Cold War and the economic struggles of the 1970s, and now watching your spoiled grandson basically call the institution to which you have silently devoted your life a vile repository of bigotry.
@thehistoryguy Can be in life and how much suffering has happened throughout history and in the present day. I find Alistairs story fascinating and inspiring, how a man can go through such terrors and come out the other side.
Amazing and inspiring man and story he told.
RIP Alistair

Captain Tom, currently battling covid in hospital, is being attacked on here for going to Barbados with his family when it was perfectly legal to do so & he was offered a trip as thanks for raising ยฃ39 million for the NHS.
He helped save Britain in WW2, his trolls shame Britain.
A fantastic window into another time period - this bustling photograph of merchants and camels at a Khan's court in Homs, Syria, was taken 100 years ago by Frรฉdรฉric Gadmer on Friday 21st October 1921. It is original colour (not colourised) ๐

The last bit of daylight of 2020, view over towards Wychbury Hill from the fields over Wollescote, Stourbridge.
Here's to a great 2021!
Happy New Year!

@BritainElects@georgegalloway@YouGov Glad to see that the 'No' has gain two points and the 'Yes' has lost two. Hopefully the 'No' will continue to gain momentum.
If there is another vote ; which I hope there will not be, it's going to be very close. I just hope that the Scots vote to stay in the UK ๐ฌ๐ง
