@AdamMFNEdwards @JohnRuddick2 Not socialist - strong socialist party in 1890s but not socialist. Problems were just as much due to IMF loans as “socialism”.
@FredPawle Typical Murdoch sycophant. Wants workers to lose their super, blames Labor for low wage growth and the housing crises when it was the LNP that presided over both those things.
@aaronsmith Yes. The Turnbull govt introduced changes to tax land banking in 2019 but they were watered down. I bet old mate’s dad had something to do with those changes. Smaller mums and dads are taxed when land banking but the bigger players keep their interest deductions
@EvanDownUnder@JohnRuddick2 😆You haven't provided any definition of what a human is yourself despite the fact that appears the only line you are running with. (I can easily btw.) But, if you actually read what I posted, I want to know how it is "Libertarian" to tell women what to do with their bodies?
@DougCameron51 Doug - Being brave is tackling inequality via a wealth tax. This was at least the beginning of that. They’re about as brave as Bloop the colour changing jellyfish
@EvanDownUnder@JohnRuddick2 What is the “off the cuff accusation” please? I don’t have to define what is human because this is not a biology debate. It’s a debate about policy and the power of the state. Even if your friends did that, so what? Why should someone be punished if they don’t choose that?
@EvanDownUnder@JohnRuddick2 So by your logic a woman that is raped has to go full term? A women raped by her brother has to go full term? A woman carrying a baby with anencephaly must be forced to give birth by the state because to terminate is murder - simply b/c of your definition of “human”. Y or N?
@EvanDownUnder@JohnRuddick2 C'mon. So you are saying that the state should have the authority to charge a woman for removing a foetus that is "less self aware than a dog?" just because it satisfies your definition of "human" with human DNA? Go find some other victim for your pathetic punitive laws
