introducing I Ain't Reading All That - a browser extension that uses GPT-3 to summarize long-form tweets, so they are quick and easy to read: https://t.co/falrwNxpKk 🐦
Also, I likely won't make any updates to Tweeten in the future. If you are currently donating via Patreon or any other service, please feel free to stop. Grateful for the support 🙏🏽
Seems like Tweeten is still functional since it's just a TweetDeck wrapper but not sure how long that will be the case.
Sad week for all the amazing third-party Twitter apps and the developers behind them :(
Heartbroken for all the Twitter employees who were laid off this week - forever grateful for their contributions to TweetDeck and Twitter. Tweeten would not exist without them 😔🙏🏽
They don’t deserve to be thrown under the bus to make the world’s richest man even richer.
“Musk is expected to cut roughly half of Twitter’s workforce one week after buying the company for $44 billion.”
Absolutely dire cuts that will forever impact Twitter and its culture. Twitter only has impact because of the people that build or use it, inside and out
@PerfectlyNin Some notifications can get really large, and that's also not ideal :(
Also, there are some limitations and weird UX problems, which is why I stuck with manual sizing.
Along with notifications, Tweeten 5.5 includes a LOT of fixes.
- you can now set custom notification sounds
- you can disable the spellchecker
- you can set a language for the spellchecker
+ way more: https://t.co/jC4PFiIpuG
Introducing Tweeten Notifications! 🔔
- Interactable notifications allow you to like tweets, and more right from notifications
- View quoted tweets, images, GIFs, and more inside notifications
- Built-in "Mute" feature to stay focused
- Tons of customization options
Enjoy! 😍
Tweeten (the best TweetDeck app for Windows) now has awesome notifications. I've been testing this for a couple of weeks, and these are really useful 👇
Notifications can get overwhelming, and Tweeten has a built-in Mute feature to help with that.
By default, the mute button is displayed based on context, like when you are getting a lot of distracting notifications 😫
You can unmute notifications easily from the context menu.
