@PeteThamel @espn @jeffborzello Curious about your explanation of Bill Guthridge as an "outside hire" since he was Dean Smith's top assistant at Carolina for 30 years(including immediately before he became head coach) and turned down head coaching opportunities to stay at UNC.

@coachjimbaker @mikelondonpost3 Congratulations, Jim!

@ACTIVE_Campus @AuburnAviation @CherokeeSchools @AuburnU Any tips on how I can secure some of these goodies for my son who just transferred into the Professional Flight program at Auburn? Wanting to offer encouragement anyway we can and we are excited for his future! Very impressed with the aviation program and want to promote it...

@TheBigShooter3 @coachjimbaker Just saw this. Congrats! Proud to know you, consider you as friends and appreciate the memories from Pony League through NRHS football/baseball and basketball(and NC Finishing Company under the night lights)! Strong and only positive memories.

Uncle Mike = total class & another example of Astros players’ dedication & leadership. Glad he’s back where he belongs. Let’s go! 🏆

Michael Brantley is bouncing back from right shoulder surgery: “I’ve been hitting, running, throwing. So I’m very excited.” Says his schedule indicates he can be ready for opening day if everything goes as planned: “It should.” Plans to take BP next week, which is a key hurdle.

@michaelschwab13 Nailed it! Take a bow, Michael. Pleased. An excellent fit in batting order & locker room. Welcome back, Uncle Mike!(*though you thankfully never left). #RunItBackStros!

Depends on where batter is standing in the box, strides, etc. Not an absolute measure. Still subjective.

What should the line be for a “checked swing?”

@MarkBermanFox26 @astros Dusty’s explanation for Dubon at SS & Diaz in LF again? Both versatile enough, yet Dubon played more OF prior to Astros & Diaz more IF. Interesting.
