We can't believe there was a point during development when we considered abandoning the ragdoll feature. But luckily, we found our way!

Of course, it's just a distant dream, but back in the day we imagined what a physical collector's edition would look like for RetroSpace. (The figure is real, btw) In light of recent PlayStation news, we just want to make this even more...
Our "putting the helmet on" scene was inspired by both Half-Life and Republic Commando. The unique thing is that it's totally skippable, so you can play the full game without helmet HUD if you want a special kind of challange. #retrospace
We are working on a lot of updates nowadays, like gunplay in general, physics (box stacking), save system options, and other super-duper important things, like this for example...

Since the demo has been out for a while, we can reveal a few hidden features:
- You can use boxes as shields
- The fire extinguisher can be used as a jetpack, and it explodes when you shoot it
- Spraying the cleaner or fire extinguisher in an opponent’s face causes them to choke
- Some enemy types just hate each other
- Energy cells explode when you shoot them
- You can create traps by shooting at gas pipes
- When the Mothmanauts heal themselves with light, they are vulnerable
- Fans sometimes hide secret stuff or routes
- You can use the wrench to repair broken stuff
- The "Suzie" smallgun is weak, but has ricoc heting bullets
- You can use objects to kill light sources
- You can use enemies as shields too
- With the cleaner’s secondary fire, you can create puddles that can conduct electricity
- Flare gun can set enemies on fire
...and more! Any feature or tactic that you found especially useful?

🚨MAJOR DEMO UPDATE - OUT NOW!🚨
Hey, Janitors! We've received amazing feedback from you all, so our first major update is already here - it includes tons of bug fixes, as well as new and some tweaked features.

We love that our players constantly discover new mechanics that haven't been tutorialized to them. And in a way, that’s the whole point. If we spoon-feed everything to the player, there won’t be any surprises. Experimenting won’t be fun. There are people who’ve replayed the demo 5–6 times and still find a new path, a hidden extra, or an unknown mechanic every time. That’s great! Any favorite thing from the demo?
Steve is always polite, buuuuut... he can be quite deadly. So you'd better take Splattercat's advice and avoid it if you can. #splattercat#retrospace#demo
