If you're wondering why there are black curtains in some of the lower seats at Melbourne D1, here's the explanation.
First off, it’s not because the seats are unsold; they were already marked as unavailable right from the moment I bought my ticket for Melbourne D1. I believe the valid reason is that some rows need to be kept empty to make space for camera and videographer equipment (See the red circles in the Melbourne photos).
As for why Sydney doesn’t have the black curtsin? That's because the venue there has enough designated spots for cameramen to set up their gear without blocking the view of the audience (Again, refer to the red circles in Sydney photos).
Also, keep in mind that Qudos Bank Arena is larger than Rod Laver Arena. You can see that the 360-degree stage almost reaches the edge of the lower level seats in Rod Laver Arena (Third picture).
According to touring data reports, TWICE made history by selling 53,752 tickets per night at the Tokyo Dome during their ‘This is For’ world tour, making it the most-attended K-pop concert ever held at the venue.

@hearts4leahh@thurdotwice One more thing to note bleacher seats are literally $179 + taxes. That's insanity. Those are the cheapest seats. JYP getting greedy.
@s4naaa__ @thurdotwice Try not to think about it too much it's still a lot of people going. They should reduce the prices they're pretty expensive $179 + taxes for bleachers seats is insanity. I hope you enjoy the show regardless!
@hearts4leahh@thurdotwice Don't feel to bad there's a lot of factors. Last tour it was their first time going to Australia & the tour had so much more hype than this one imo. Since it was their first tour since covid. Also 360 stage it opens up the venue for more seats.
