It does strike me as weird that @Twitch staff are in Trainwreckstv's chat and accepting $50,000 in crypto from him.
It must be hard to see clearly when deciding whether to regulate the person that just paid near your entire salary in one bitcoin transaction. #TwitchStopGambling

Twitch's purple screen of death is now messing up stream embeds directly inside video games, as seen here in the PUBG client for the PUBG Global Invitational. probably not great for the user experience!
We would like to thank all the developers/communities like @SaltyBet and many others for helping us grow over the years by building cool sites around our embedded player.
But we're big now and you're inconvenient so please go away.

Twitch now says that you can no longer call others 'simp', 'incel', and 'virgin' as they are now against TOS, along with any emotes relating to the term simp
Twitch baby, what is you doing?
Look here #SaveSmash'ers, this isn't what it looks like. It wasn't "hush-money". We were just passing on the...uh..."opportunities" for blackmail and bribery that Nintendo provided us.
We call it trickle-down bribe-enomics.
⚠️ICYMI⚠️: the RIAA, the ones waging DMCA war with @Twitch, are also waging war on GitHub. GitHub, owned by Microsoft, have rallied to protect their community in only 3 weeks.
Twitch have had 5 months and have done nothing except cause mass content extermination and fear. 🤷♀️
Livestreaming is not TV, it doesn't just pause for Twitch to make a buck -- viewers need to push back on big moments being missed for greed.
Streamers need to fight for control over what advertises on their channel and when.
There's no joke here.
Support streamers, not Twitch.
PSA: Twitch has rolled out anti-adblock updates to not only constantly interrupt the stream, but also to limit users to high latency 480p — EVEN IF YOU ARE SUBSCRIBED TO A CHANNEL.
This comes after removing partner's ability to completely control when ads interrupt their stream.
Starting this week, we'll be testing automated mid-roll sponsorships for some streamers. These sponsorships will directly support the Creator and won't run if the streamer has had a sponsor break in that channel recently. Your feedback is welcomed although ultimately irrelevant!
Creators beware! @Twitch staff is now going around donating spare change in attempt to trick you into shouting out brands w/o proper compensation. Don’t fall for it. His punk ass lucky I couldn’t ban him.
Advertising is an important source of support for the creators who make Twitch possible.
That's why we're making changes to Prime so we can reduce what we have to pay out streamers. To support the creators.
That's us. We created this.
@Slasher Reasonable minds can disagree what Twitch should do/prioritize moving forward, but in many ways this Glass Door rating trajectory speaks for itself...
We've seen an increasing number of reports regarding unsolicited bots in chat.
Fret not, we're working hard to ban useless bots such as this loathsome spammer.
ICYMI: Our beta site has now been forced live! Here are some highlights:
- Broke support for browser extensions like FrankerFaceZ and BTTV, which will require weeks of unpaid dev time to completely fix
- A bit faster I guess
