@BYUSportsNation For the coaches, I think it has always been less toxic than the fans make it. I think the fans are going to keep it at a pretty high level as long as the games stay close.
@BYUSportsNation I don't think I can say that. Football is hard and many things could change the season. I think they have the ability to win the conference, so I am looking forward to see if they can accomplish that goal.
@BYUSportsNation BYU's ability to remain competitive across multiple disciplines stands out the most. Transitioning to a power conference often causes programs to struggle significantly, but BYU has navigated the shift remarkably well and maintained a high level of play.
@BYUSportsNation 1. Texas Tech
2. BYU
3. Arizona
4. Utah
5. Houston
It is hard to know becuase a few teams picked up some QBs in the transfer portal and they could really effect thee standings.
@BYUSportsNation It would be up there, but I reserve the top spots for things that happened during sporting events at BYU. Those are what cemented my fandom. It is nice to point to those that did well at the pro level, but they don't grab me like actual BYU sports.
@BYUSportsNation Depends on how you define better. Can they make a deeper run in the NCAA tourney? I think they have the talent to do it. That will really be confirmed once the roster is finalized.
@BYUSportsNation It doesn't change my expectations of BYU. I think they will still compete for the league title. Who they play in that title game might change now, but BYU still has a great opportunity to get a Big 12 championship.
@BYUSportsNation National championships. It is always great to see athletes put on amazing performances at the highest level. It is so fun that we have been seeing this happen for multiple years now.
@BYUSportsNation By definition it would not. They are wnning more games than they are losing. Maybe it is a good sign for the program that some people would find this as a failure. They are becoming so consistent that 9-3 seems like a bad thing.
@BYUSportsNation I think Sorsby not playing is more likely. The talking points right now are flying, but when push comes to shove, you would be allowing Tech to win all games by forfeit. Go beat them up and show that breaking the rules does not work.
@BYUSportsNation Just buisness as ususal. We really don't know how these teams are going to look yet, so Vegas picks a spread that will get people to bet. Basing possible outcomes on spreads is a fool's errand, as spreads are set by companies trying to make money.
@BYUSportsNation Yes. He has had a full offseason to ge tmore comfortable with the system. This should enable him to make quicker reads and stay out of trouble. This will make the defense be more honest.
@BYUSportsNation I think it is fair but 30+ touchdowns could be tricky if we are just counting passes. I think they will have a lot of rushing touchdowns.
@BYUSportsNation Not a big concern at this point. "Wide net" is the part that eases my fears. They could be asking him about other coaches or he could be doing it for experience.
@BYUSportsNation For me it is 8 pm. Days are ususally busy and it is hard to carve out time for a game. At night I have everything done and I can sit back and enjoy the game.
@BYUSportsNation Top 3 for sure. There is some good talent out there with Noah Fifita, DJ Lagway, and Drew Mestemaker, among others. I think the difference is that BYU has a better supporting cast, which will highlight Bear's performance.
