Shoe Shopper Extraordinaire ! Chiisai Banni-Banni no Kawaii Bouken Monogatari ! I am not trying to grow a large Twitter, but try to follow back as best as can.
@Pirat_Nation Could be worse....... These things could still be working off audio cassette tapes. Imagine using a BetaMax video tape from Sony. The Commode 64 puter used an audio cassette for a game called Battlesh17$ ! It doubled as a heat furnace during Winter.
@GeraldoRivera This entire post lacks any logic whatsoever. Geraldo doesn't want action. He doesn't want answers. Give immunity??? To insinuate that , You know there's guilt. No, ride this till it ends. Offer him immunity .... That's stupidity
@Mangalawyer It's obvious that it is a common denominator. I may be wrong, but I would say 95% of the games they tried to indoctrinate, did not do well. You cannot act like these journalists and dismiss key facts.
@Stallion83 It's literally just another basic achvmnt isn't it? In fact, many games will port over PlayStation trophies into the Xbox system. The 100% a game just unlocks last. I don't know why this is a big deal. I want Xbox to create teams that audit all games and fix broken achvmnts.
@Todd_Spence@brutus1177 My father, was a huge Gallagher fan. It's just a generational thing. For a time, it bled off to me. We actually went to his show around 93. Gallagher used to be shown on early ShowTime channel, on the John Byner show, or a full special. It also spawned Super Dave Osborne.
@Todd_Spence That desk had a 110/120 VAC circuit in it to that microphone did it not? Saw a desk, ZzZzZzZztttt. Never liked Tom Green. That Freddie Fingered movie was a disgrace.
@Iamjoker697@DarthLemon616@G27Status He allowed rumors of Xbox's demise for about a year. He never once addressed it. The whole " What is an Xbox " campaign was his design. For nearly a year, rumors were wild that the Series X would be the last Xbox console. That's devastating PR for a console maker.
@dxrkspartan@JezCorden It's a waste.... I mean, many games already implemented it. It's literally just a basic achvmnt. I want Xbox to create a team that alters or disables broken or discontinued achvmnts dating back to the 360. That would be a far better play.
@JezCorden I'm surprised Sony doesn't have some kind of patent on a "platinum trophy" or trophy system. But they apparently don't. If it had been Nintendo inventing it, you better believe they'd be in court litigating it's use.
@Gazz477@Slonk01 There was an old computer, I think it was called the Commode 64 computer ( It doubled as a heat furnace during Winter of 84') was notorious for swapping disks for hours at a time. Imagine if we invented these things called "hard drives" and had digital Battlesh1ts for Commode 64!
@Gazz477@Slonk01 I see the convenience of using it, IF (big if) you are swapping around a few games you have physically bought. I have always enjoyed the process of physical media. It will be nice, but is it really this big of an advancement? Or just over hyped like a 1984 pair of moon boots.
@Slonk01 It does seem to just be that fad or hype that is astroturfed, but it really is not that big of advancement. I personally never minded using a physical disc as DRM. Owning physical, inserting them is just taken for granted by some I guess .
@GroNadeo@BobWulff I don't want to overthink it. I remember issues on the OG Xbox ( and PS2 ) where a simple change in the OEM drive manufacturer would cause headaches reading data on that hub track. I bet a studio has to also sign off on being able to do this. Abandonware titles may not get it.
@GroNadeo@BobWulff I understand that. Moreso used in the past for copy protection. I know the OG Playstation used it. I'm just curious where the tech limitations are drawn at. Id gamble, that a simple firmware mismatch could throw a wrench in the machine. I hope it stores a license on the account.
@_elan_vital It's a revolving dumpster fire. They come in as QA. Make sure only their friends are hired, bypassing normal HR methods. Create nonsensical accomplishments, such as a CATS video game, using Nintendo Mario Maker 2. It's ridiculous on all levels, from corporate, to them
@_elan_vital The one person, literally documented a game he made, as a Mario Maker 2 level. It's not about the job, as much as it's a cult that latches on, only hires their friends, all while believing they are the spark of the industry. They're cut off from a reality outside of them.
