@TheOnlyGuru I know! Apart from being uncomfortable is there actually any real danger?! What does this teach pupils about persevering and pushing on through difficulty?

@jarvando@JEPnews Yea, they want to go a little faster than you choose to, but following too closely shows their ignorance or complacency to the vehicle separation required to avoid an accident should you have to unexpectedly brake.
@JEPnews a 30 zone for good measure too. Make it safer using the right tools: pavements, inset bus stops (not having commuters standing in the road), zebra crossings, and if you have to use pelican crossings have the lights at the correct brightness and with the correct light sequence.
@JEPnews Most accidents are due to drivers not paying due care and attention, not speeding. How many times have you seen a driver where driving appears to be their 3rd or 4th priority?! If you want consistency stop creating the unnecessary 'village' 20 zones, which are often wrapped in
@JEPnews And if the Deputy is so concerned about driver confusion then bin all the 'national speed limit' signs (you know the white ones with the black stripe) and just put a 40 sign.
If people can't figure out what the limit is on a stretch of road perhaps they shouldn't be driving.
