Evening Drive!
Earlier, the NRM Presidential Candidate, @KagutaMuseveni, together with First Lady Maama @JanetMuseveni arrived at St. Joseph's Secondary School, Naggalama grounds in Mukono district, for his second rally of the day. Now he's winding up his speech after being ushered in by Senior Party leaders. #ProtectingTheGains
Maama and I, together with the NRM leadership, launched the campaign in the Greater Mukono region here in Kayunga. I noted progress in service delivery but reminded wananchi that government programmes must be supervised by the people themselves. Medicines in health centres and PDM funds belong to the people and must be protected. I urged voters to choose NRM leaders who can monitor implementation and take responsibility.
On concerns raised by the Bakuku community regarding denial of passports, I clarified that citizenship by birth, registration or naturalization is a constitutional right, and no eligible Ugandan should be denied services because of unnecessary bureaucracy. I also emphasised job creation through commercial agriculture, irrigation, skills training and industrialisation, encouraged my Kayunga people to identify land for an industrial park, and reaffirmed that the Constitution protects all land tenure systems and safeguards tenants from illegal evictions.
Museveni: “I warn the people who are misleading these young people, like those involved in the November 2020 riots. Those playing that game here in Uganda will end up badly.”
One of the most iconic moments of Michael Jackson's career was at Wembley Stadium in 1988.
He performed in front of 72.000 people on 7 consecutive dates.
The British royal family attended, and Michael even dedicated "Dirty Diana" to the princess, which caused quite a stir.
I want to commend @Buddo_SS Netball Club’s primary care team for their quick reaction to rescue this girl.
I think this should be a wake-up call to the National Netball League organizers.
Please, let’s ensure there is always an ambulance 🚑 at the venue.

..rights are enjoyed in a peaceful, stable state, and it's a duty of the state to make provisions for that security. It's the duty of the state to regulate, to strike the delicate balance between individual rights and societal rights." Afande Noble.
