Rajon Rondo tells Kendrick Perkins to his face that he refuses to run up the score in NBA youth basketball
"whenever I get up 30 I challenge my guys to do different things. I stop allowing fast break layups and I work on execution and then I'll maybe try different defensive schemes"
"I'm not going to just keep applying pressure trying to beat you by 90 points I do not do that...I'm obviously trying to play in different tournaments to where I'm not winning by 30 or 40"
"people called and they was like do you guys want to play 17? I was like perfect please. So like I said I'm always looking for a challenge...If I'm winning about 70 40 57 it's there it's no point of me playing like I don't want to waste the parents money"
Can't believe Brad Stevens actually pulled the trigger. Trading Jaylen Brown for Paul George and only 2 fucking picks is wild. I hate you all & the media disrespected this man and ran him out of the city after everything he did for us. Well, you finally get what you wanted unbelievable. I’m so sick to my stomach
THIS…THIS is the “unethical” ESPN journalistic bull s#!t Jaylen Brown is talking about. One minute it’s Stephen A. Smith making threats like he’s a media mobster, the next it’s Kendrick ‘Gossipmonger’ Perkins spreading rumors about Twitch streams. Then they bring in Marks to take shots at him with asinine ass analytics, and now they send this negro out with his “anonymous sources” saying that Brown has “off the court” issues (which is a dog whistle term for criminal behavior).
An “anonymous source” whispers that people are worried about his “off-court activity,” a phrase vague enough to accuse him of everything while proving nothing. That is not journalism. That is character assassination.
And then the talking head hides behind, “I don’t believe it, but…”
If you don’t believe it, why repeat it? Why report it? He’s doing that s#!t because the purpose was never truth. The purpose was contamination. To plant suspicion. To put a cloud over a Black man’s name without having to produce a single drop of rain.
This is some sucka s#!t. But as we know, suckas do sucka s#it.
Why do people not do this discourse about Nikola Jokic/Jamal Murray every summer?
I haven't even seen this many conversations about duos like Paolo Banchero / Franz Wagner, who have not yet accomplished anything together.
Does Boston just generate more clicks?
