「描きこまない絵は手抜き」

絵を描き始めのころ、自分は描きこまない絵、余白のある絵を「手抜き」だと思って魅力を感じなかった。

描きこまれた絵こそ正義だし、見てる側の満足感も高いだろうと。

でも今は���う。
描きこみの少ない絵は、見てる人へ想像の余地を残していたり、何か意図があったりすることを知っている。
しかも実は、描きこまない絵って高い技術がいる。
もちろん描きこまれた絵も。

だか��今は描きこみの少ない絵、描きこみの多い絵、どっちも好き。

かっこよく言うと、
描き込みは「自分への信頼」、余白は「見てる人への信頼」かもしれない。
