@WriterHannahBT Not sure what today's was, but yesterdays was a buzzard. Been hearing it for weeks, thought it was a red kite, but then it finally came up on that merlin bird app yesterday as a common buzzard (it's normally too far away for the app/my phone to pick it up). It was cool :) haha
@messedupfoods That looks like an airport lounge or something. Their pastries do tend to be small. Not sure why, maybe it's so you eat quickly for you flight or something.
But yeah, he buys smallest pastries possible and complains about portion sizes, what a twat haha
@briggy739@antidickrider72@d_lo187@billdubie About the same as the US, the money just goes towards better things like healthcare rather than making the rich richer or financing illegal wars.
@hellashus@Kenicavus@igor_os777 Always see this argument. Why not both? Employers can pay them a decent wage and if the work is good then customer can still tip.
It's how it's done everywhere else in the world.
@ladytron13@shannon_rxo@BaldwinLeigh Only need a license to watch live TV. Can watch streaming services (except BBC iPlayer and any BBC tube channels) without a license. Just tell them you don't need one.
@Axaxia88 As cute as it looks, this kinda thing is actually doing a lot more harm than good to the sea lions (basically they keeping coming back, become a problem and then the local people/animal control deal with the "problem"). I saw a casual geographic video about it, worth a watch :)
