The Vice Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology holds the First Meeting with the Student Advisory Council for the Academic Year 2025-2026

His Excellency Dr. Ali Al Bimani, President of the National University of Science and Technology, held the first meeting with the newly elected Student Advisory Council for the academic year 2025–2026, in the presence of Dr. Salim Al Araimi, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Provost for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Lamia Al Rawas, Head of Student Affairs. The meeting took place on Thursday, 16 October, at 10:00 AM at the University Headquarters.

This meeting reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to enhancing effective communication with students, engaging them in decision-making processes, and improving the overall student experience.

Dr. Al Bimani opened the session by welcoming the Council members, including 17 elected representatives from various colleges and two selected representatives from the School of Foundation Studies, commending their leadership, initiative, and dedication to representing their fellow students.

The meeting included discussions on key topics related to the quality of teaching, student activities, and university services. Students shared their suggestions and aspirations for enhancing both academic and campus life.

During the discussion, Dr. Al Bimani reaffirmed the University’s commitment to promoting a culture of dialogue, participation, and collaboration, and to providing an inspiring learning environment that empowers students to actively contribute to the development of their University.

Together, we build a more engaged and distinguished student community at the National University of Science and Technology.
