Some people will insist to no end that he’s the problem. But he’s not & to the same token I always said about Stafford … put him on an actual winning team & let’s see how well those arguments hold up.

The reality is this roster fucking sucks. Least-threatening / worst scoring punch Top 6 of any halfway decent team. Worst Bottom 6 in the NHL. Period. It’s not Dylan’s fault he can only score 35 & drag them to a mid 90’s points total.

The reality that it’s some sort of combo that the young players aren’t nearly as good as people thought/aren’t developing nearly as fast as some expected/the team just flat-out isn’t very good … is just too tough for some to accept.

They aren’t just magically going to be any better next year, either. They’ll need drastic changes & big improvements.

Again. All stuff that can’t be solved by some mythical or superhero type leadership. Get a better team with better players. The slop being put on the ice isn’t good enough.
