The US is certainly not a good place for investments, but if I had a child and said child lived there, wouldn’t that be enough reason? And since you asked, it’s not a belief. I know this because every time he stays somewhere people figure out what property it is. It’s shared here, on TT and in tumblr posts.
For the CR trip, like I said, check the info on the back of the cd/vinyl whatever you bought, it states what songs were recorded where, and if you check the copyright registry for songs you can see that some songs were written way before this era.

He’s rented multiple houses in multiple locations. If a person is invested in visiting there so often, it would make sense to own a house, even for someone who’s loaded, investing in real estate makes more sense than throwing it away with rent.
But instead of at a private property, he’s seen staying in hotels and rented villas. That’s not someone invested in the area.
Him saying he divides his time between the Uk and LA is a work narrative, nothing more than that.
Falls in the same category as him saying he wrote his new album in CR while the majority of songs were written before that and recorded in Europe (check the back of the vinyl/ cd) CR was a lads trip and part of the promo narrative

No, definitely not, but his real estate sale has been reported on. Even when his family visited, they stayed in a rented villa. Also, the kid lives in Hawaii, his real parents are the worst at keeping things secret, especially the mom (Tammi mind you) and grandma (in the earlier days). And besides, there are so many occasions Louis could’ve visited LA, but was later found to be somewhere completely different 🤷��‍♀️
