Most memes launch a token first and spend months trying to manufacture lore.

Rocket didn’t have to.

Years before Robinhood Chain existed, a raccoon started showing up around Robinhood’s Lake Mary office. Employees named her Rocket, created her a LinkedIn profile as “Scavenger at Robinhood,” and turned her into an internal legend.

The profile sat there for years.

No token.
No community.
No roadmap.

Just a real raccoon with a documented place in Robinhood culture.

Then Robinhood launched its chain.

The trenches eventually rediscovered Rocket’s LinkedIn, archived the screenshots, and realized this wasn’t another made up mascot. The lore was already there… we just uncovered it.

An OG token launched and introduced Rocket to CT, but the first deployment ultimately lost momentum.

The story deserved better.

So we rebuilt around what actually matters: the lore, the community, and preserving one of the most authentic meme origins on Robinhood Chain.

Today we’re pushing the official Scavenger token on Robinhood around that same story.

No fake backstory.
No forced narrative.

Just a real office raccoon that accidentally became one of the strongest native memes on the chain.
