Global interest in India's hardware innovation ecosystem, with Telangana emerging as a leading center, continues to grow.
It was our pleasure to welcome senior representatives from the US Department of Defense and the US Consulate to T-Works for discussions on India's, and particularly Telangana's, rapidly evolving deep-tech and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
The delegation included Col. Quoc-Nam Nguyen, Commander, DCMA Pacific; Capt. Jeremy Crestetto, Chief, USMILGP New Delhi; Mr. Nathanuel David Jones, Quality Assurance Specialist, DCMAI Singapore; and Mr. Arkadeb Banerjee, Program Manager, USMILGP New Delhi.
The interaction with deep-tech startups showcased how ideas are being translated into deployable products through world-class prototyping, advanced manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise, and industry collaboration.
The discussions reflected the growing global recognition of India's hardware innovation ecosystem, with Telangana playing a leading role, and the opportunities for future collaboration in advanced manufacturing, dual-use technologies, and defence innovation.

Reimagining sanitation isn't just about new technology - it's about building the ecosystem that carries innovation from R&D to real-world deployment.
T-Works was proud to be part of the 2nd IWA International Conference on Non-Sewered Sanitation Systems (ICNSS 2026) at IIT Palakkad — a global platform convening researchers, practitioners, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators committed to inclusive, sustainable, and resilient sanitation systems.
Representing T-Works at the conference, Lt Col T M Praveen Kumar(Retd) and Dr. Anumeha Arun Meena Vats engaged in conversations spanning R&D, engineering, deployment, and scale, connecting with the wider sanitation ecosystem and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
A highlight was the panel discussion on "Advancing India's R&D Ecosystem for Water-Efficient Sanitation Solutions," where T-Works featured as a panelist. The conversation centered on a critical question: how do we build stronger pathways for promising sanitation technologies to move beyond research and prototypes - toward validation, manufacturing, deployment, and scale?
This is precisely where organisations like T-Works add value - bridging the journey from lab to market-ready product through engineering, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and field validation.
The T-Works exhibition stall became a space for exactly these conversations, bringing us together with researchers, technology developers, practitioners, and partners to exchange perspectives, explore collaborations, and discuss how transformative sanitation technologies can be engineered, validated, and scaled into solutions that work on the ground.
Three days of dialogue, learning, and a shared ambition - moving sanitation innovation from promising technology to meaningful impact on the ground.
If you're working on a sanitation technology that needs to move faster from prototype to field-ready product, we'd love to connect. T-Works brings the engineering, manufacturing, and validation infrastructure to help take it there.

In Germany, many deep-tech startups take shape inside universities and research labs, with much of the early support concentrated before a company is even registered.
Axial Aero, a member of the T-Works innovation ecosystem, experienced this firsthand as one of just ten founders selected for the *Indo-German InnoXchange Programme*. The programme is a bilateral initiative of India's Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Germany's DAAD, represented through the German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH), New Delhi, and executed by SINE. It brings together deep-tech startups, incubators and innovation leaders from both countries to foster joint R&D, technology commercialization, market access and long-term partnerships.
The delegation travelled across Baden-Württemberg, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Bavaria, Stuttgart and Frankfurt, engaging with universities, research centres and deep-tech organisations across Space, Defence, Quantum, Nuclear and Energy. The experience offered valuable insights into Germany's research-driven innovation ecosystem while laying the groundwork for future collaboration in advanced technologies.
Programmes like these reinforce a shared vision: combining India's speed of innovation with Germany's engineering excellence to accelerate the development of globally relevant deep-tech solutions.
Congratulations, Axial Aero.

At T-Works, we believe the best defence technologies are built when startups work directly with the people who use them. Bringing together the Armed Forces, government, industry, academia, investors, and manufacturing partners with innovators is how ideas become deployable capabilities.
That belief is at the heart of the National Defence Innovation Conclave 2026.
The future of India's defence capabilities will be shaped by stronger collaboration between government, the Armed Forces, startups, industry, academia, investors, and manufacturing partners. The conclave brings these stakeholders together on one platform to accelerate indigenous innovation, strengthen strategic partnerships, and advance the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Hosted by T-Works in Hyderabad, the conclave will feature:
* Live demonstrations by 30+ defence and deep-tech startups
* Leadership addresses from distinguished dignitaries representing government and India's defence innovation ecosystem
* Panel discussions on strategic technologies, procurement, intellectual property, venture capital, and indigenisation
* Startup elevator pitches, curated B2B meetings, and networking with representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces, DRDO, iDEX, government agencies, industry, academia, MSMEs, and the investment community
Whether you're developing defence technologies, enabling policy, investing in deep-tech, or strengthening India's manufacturing capabilities, this is where meaningful collaborations begin.

Modern battlefields are defined by online intelligence, speed, and data as much as by weapons.
Aiila Innovations is a sovereign deep-tech company building AI-driven ISR and onboard intelligence systems for defence and space platforms. Manas, the hardware intelligence brain, and Drishti, the software intelligence brain, work together to create a unified tactical intelligence layer across naval, aerial, and space domains.
At T-Works, the team demonstrated these capabilities directly to officers from the Indian Army's Simulator Development Division. Not a showcase. A conversation that's already moving to the next level.
When intelligence is the weapon, the OS layer matters.

A soldier in the field needs more than a weapon. They need technology that extends their capabilities.
Chakravyuha Dynamics is a defence technology company developing three distinct capabilities: digital twin platforms for mission simulation and operator training, AI-integrated combat companions that enhance the operational reach of existing weapon systems, and drone-on-drone solutions using FPV drones with land-based radar to counter aerial threats in real time.
At T-Works, the team demonstrated these capabilities directly to officers from the Indian Army's Simulator Development Division. Not a pitch. A conversation about exact pain points, and what it takes to solve them.
Better problem statements lead to better defence technologies.
