I wish for the world to be in peace, but changing the world is difficult. Even trying to change a nation, society, and even your own family. I will change 1st.

In June 1976, True Mother gave us members money for our lunch. I felt her love 100%, but thought, "Mother must get decent sleep... She looks so fresh". But Father wrote that, like him, she only got 2-3 hours of sleep every night. She was radiant with God's love and True Father's love.
Dr. Juraj Lajda gives compelling reasons why Dr. Hak-ja Han should win the Nobel Peace Prize. He was imprisoned for three years in communist Czechoslovakia and, after that, continued to stand for freedom. He praises Dr. Han for her strength and courage as she stands for peace while in prison. He compares her to Dr. Martin Luther King, Desmond Tutu, and Mother Teresa. As this article reads, "Throughout history, the prize has continually elevated leaders who utilized non-violent transformation in seemingly impossible environments." This article is one of the best I've read about the Mother of Peace.

“Beating you to death is free.” Then they would call it natural causes..
In China, a Christian who believes in Almighty God is stripped, beaten, denied sleep, and starved until a healthy body falls from 90 kilograms to 60.
Police tell her they can kill her, drag the body to the crematorium, and stamp the death as natural.
At that moment, she remembers the words that kept her from breaking: Cast away your fear. Let God be your backing.
These are the stories too often left outside the frame. We created this series so they could no longer be ignored.

Court Extends Suspension of Detention for Dr. Hak Ja Han Once Again — Until September 2
According to legal sources on the 30th, the Seoul Central District Court on the 29th further extended the suspension of detention for Dr. Hak Ja Han.
Her side applied for the extension on the 28th, citing difficulties in detention life stemming from incomplete recovery after shoulder fracture surgery and ongoing vision problems. The court granted the request.
As a result, the temporary release period, originally set to expire at 2 p.m. on July 31, has been extended until 6 p.m. on September 2.
At 83 years of age, Dr. Han is reported to be experiencing lingering effects from the shoulder surgery that continue to hinder her daily life.
Her side also maintains that progressive vision deterioration requires sustained medical treatment and monitoring in a hospital setting.
All previous suspensions of detention have likewise been granted primarily on health grounds.
Given her advanced age, a swift recovery is sincerely hoped for.

While we’re revisiting news coverage of the Blessing, here’s one from the archives.
In 2018, The New York Times offered an inside look at how young Unificationists approach matching and marriage—with parents often playing an active role in helping their children find a spouse.
The article follows several families navigating a tradition rooted in shared faith, intentional preparation and the hope of building a lasting, God-centered marriage.
It’s an interesting glimpse into how the Blessing has evolved across generations—and how young people and their parents work together while making one of life’s biggest decisions.

Mistakes and deceptive practices are the unfortunate reality of ALL religious institutions, not just the #UnificationChurch .
Hold those who did such things accountable, but not by denying #ReligiousFreedom to all church members.
The Catholic Church isn’t dissolved for its mistakes. Neither are countless other Christian denominations, the Mormons, or all of Islam for that matter. And they shouldn’t be.
So why is the Unification Church the exception, and why is its leader still held in unjust detention?

Dr. Hak Ja Han, the 83-year-old leader of the Family Federation, was arrested on September 23, 2025. After 300 days, she remains in custody today.
On July 10, at her final hearing, prosecutors demanded 13 years in prison.
Then she gave her final statement. It contained no attack on the special counsel. No attack on the Korean government. She testified God's dream and her lifework to make that dream into reality.
"I have dedicated my entire life to serving Heaven and realizing the ideal of one peaceful human family. I have never sought power through money.
As the leader of the Family Federation, I deeply apologize for unintentionally causing controversy and trouble in many areas.
Throughout my life, I have emphasized that we must serve Heaven in order to realize a peaceful world through the True Family Movement, and I have lived traveling around the world to accomplish this.
Therefore, it breaks my heart that the person I trusted and entrusted with everything has brought about the current situation.
Until the day my life comes to an end, I will continue to advance toward this goal, no matter where I am.
I will pray that this nation, blessed by Heavenly Parents, will fully carry out its responsibility as the second Israel and chosen nation, and that its people will live up to that calling.
Let me say once more: An unseemly incident like what has occurred today must never happen again.
Now, for the sake of our future descendants, I pray and bestow my blessing that this nation will become one where a beautiful Kingdom of Heaven on earth—free from war and conflict, centered on Heaven—can unfold.
Thank you."

The #UnificationChurch changed my life for the GOOD.
I pursue the GOOD because of the Unification Church.
I am married and fulfilled because of Sun-myung Moon & Hak-ja Han.
I chose this life. The church didn’t force me to.
It is not perfect. But it aims upward.

Una cámara de seguridad captó el momento exacto en que un niño se detuvo frente a la imagen de Jesús, limpió el área, dijo una oración y se fue.

Yesterday, Lee Jae-myung managed to give a speech commemorating the Korean War without mentioning either that North Korea invaded the South or that the U.S. came to his country’s defense. 36,574 Americans died fighting in Korea.
The Supreme Court of Japan has finalized the dissolution order for the Unification Church ( the Family Federation).
The religious freedom of its believers has been dismissed.
On June 22, the Court rejected the special appeal.
All four judges unanimously ruled that "the dissolution order is necessary and unavoidable."
The impact on believers is already severe.
Simply being a member has led to dismissals from work, rental rejections, school bullying, inappropriate comments by university professors, denial of access to or use of public facilities, and ongoing restrictions on entering church buildings.
Nevertheless, the Court concluded that even after considering the impact on believers, stripping the organization of its religious corporation status is "necessary and unavoidable."
Additionally, Judge Makoto Okino, who had been subject to a recusal request, rejected the recusal but ultimately did not participate in the deliberations. The reason remains unclear.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs, which requested the dissolution order, commented that "we accept this as the government's position being upheld."
This statement gives the strong impression that the judiciary is endorsing the administration’s wishes, which raises serious concerns.
Freedom of religion is a fundamental human right guaranteed by the Constitution.
In a situation where human rights violations and cases of harm against believers have already been widely reported, this decision sets a dangerous precedent that could legitimize discrimination and persecution against believers.
