CRASH ALERT/NORTH OF SAN MANUEL. A truck rollover on southbound US 281, north of San Manuel, is impeding traffic on both travel lanes. TxDOT crews are assisting with traffic control. Expect delays while traffic is rerouted. DPS estimates a 2-3 hour closure.
ON WEATHER WATCH & CLEARING INLETS. This week, TxDOT Pharr crews are patrolling areas most prone to flooding to make sure rain inlets and gutters are free of debris. Stay weather aware, monitoring the potential for heavy rain and flooding in our area.

TRAFFIC ALERT/RIO GRANDE CITY–Nighttime milling & paving operations are planned on US 83 in Rio Grande City beginning Sunday, Sept. 13, & continuing through Thursday, Sept. 17. The work will continue for approximately four weeks between Charco Blanco Road and Fairgrounds Road.

The WB I-2 main lanes in Pharr will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. September 8 through September 10.
Westbound traffic will exit at Cage Boulevard and re-enter the main lanes using the next available entrance ramp.
The closures are necessary for milling and paving.
