SB 840 was supposed to make it easier to build MORE HOUSING across Texas. 🏠

Instead, some North Texas cities are adding costly requirements that developers say are blocking projects before they even start. 💸

Olympic-sized pools? Extra mandates? More red tape?

Meanwhile, Dallas and Plano are moving forward.

MORE HOMES = MORE AFFORDABILITY.

52 small lot homes enabled by SB 15, plus a Fort Worth Habitat project that I haven't found unit counts on

4,987+ homes leveraged by SB 840 - they were able to get their zoning in part because of the threat of using the law to skip rezoning entirely..."
