2 years ago today we lost our founder and a super talented, kind, caring person. Michael was a rare one. He always cheered you on whether you were working within one of his many projects or not. He would always be happy for you, probably even happier than you were for yourself lol. We wanted to remember him today as we do everyday and hope we are carrying on his legacy in a way that makes him proud. Rest peacefully Mike, until we see you again. 🙏🕊️ #MikeMadeMe
How does a school pitch itself to a bigger conference?
A document from Texas State to the Pac-12 provides a nice, informative look (including specific rev-share figures, detailed goals and a section on "philosophical alignment and aspirations."

I got some #PAC12 documents along with some other #TXST journalists and peeps last night. I’m still digging, but this was really cool to see. This is a document sent from TXST to the PAC12 about joining the league. It lists a lot of things. (CONT. BELOW) @SquarinPod#EatEmUp

#TXST sits at 3-4 on the season after three straight losses.

A dark time is upon the Texas State football program as it lost its third consecutive game at Marshall on Saturday.
Kinne is now 9-10 against the Sun Belt and 4-7 in October at Texas State.

Once happens. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a pattern.
This is fully on GJ Kinne. Opted to, once again, not take the points with a FG in the red zone and then lost by three. No other way to cut it. Not even that mad about the defense. Much better week until the end.
Texas State's loss to Troy Saturday night brought up a multitude of questions.
What happened? Is the secondary fixable?
How good are the Bobcats, actually?

$37 mil renovation. So many people contributed in elevating #TXST’s facilities and all of them say the factor that pushed it over the edge is GJ Kinne. What he’s done for the culture here can’t be clouded by 1 tough game. Damn good ball coach. He’ll figure out the little things.
Coach Wacker: “Do your best - don’t sweat the rest. And winning will take care of itself!”
I have loved celebrating our SWT legacy at our Homecoming games these past four years. I did NOT love wearing the tube socks and coaching shorts! 🫣 Thanks for the pep talk, Coach!🐾⭐️🏈
